Looks good, but if it doesnt fix the splash damage problem from BFBC1 (explosives causing zero damage unless direct hit) then im not buying

It's not a problem, it's a balance decision. If explosives did more damage, you would live about 3 seconds if not in a vehicle. Helicopters, tanks, artillery, mortars, boats, scope stations, and even jeeps all have explosive ordinance. Good luck not instagibbing constantly with your suggested change.

It's not called splash damage if it does 0 damage unless its a direct hit now is it? There was splash damage, not not that much. And there are sometimes that even if you put C4 right under a sniper and detonate it for the lulz, it doesn't do jack. That's something that needs to be fixed, I agree. But that's not really something that would affect my decision on buying it...

yeah, if you miss a tank with the JDAM by 1ft nothing happens to it, not even a little damage. Balance is one thing, but this balance just isnt balanced

I like the first game but hit boxes where messed up like someone already said unload a whole clip into someone and they turn around and kill you with pistol. Also if they don't allow you to go prone this time I will be disappointed.. I like the way the included taking the whole building down now. I hope they are not canned animations and they contain real physics so the buildings come apart differently every time like in Crysis. The game engine looks amazing!!!

This game is looking better and better each time. Each video, each trailer, each map is looking better and better. Love the graphics, the sound, the explosions! By the way I'm getting this on PC, it's going to look awesome!

For those worried about the hit detection. From the videos I've seen, killing ppl is doesn't take too long anymore. It seems to be just perfect, not too fast, not too long.

Ill get a game with actual strategy that doesnt just include running around with the P90.
Now that DICE has finally getting used to console development, they are going to be awesome. Look at how good BF1943 was. That was a budget game too.
And for people who think COD is better than BF. Ya, how many games of each series have you played? No one really cared about COD online before it hit the consoles.
There is a reason why BF1942 is ranked as the 5th greatest PC game of all time on IGN and why COD is number 10.
Ill get a game with actual strategy that doesnt just include running around with the P90.

Bad Company 1 is a BADASS game! Cannot wait for BadCo 2.
MW2 is rental for the single player. Multiplayer lacks vehicles so meh. It does have split-screen though, which in MW1 was fun as hell. hmm.. shit. decisions...

Definitely not interested in inciting a flame war between BF:BC2 and MW2 aficionados. But Bad Company 2 does look a bit more polished than Modern Warfare 2.
