because they mentioned japan specifically and all other gran turismo games had non-worldwide simultaneous releases most likely america will get it later (2-3 months is my estimate).
they change up the soundtracks per region so there is a lil more than just the language localization.

Certainly reduces their case for holiday pwnage in Japan. Don't get me wrong, FFXIII is still going to be quite epic, but adding GT5 would have been apocalyptic or something.

it should have been out this year. but im sure they were going to redo all of their damage modeling saddly i dont care about damage and done feel its needed but whatever heres to having a date. lets hope this doesnt turn into half life. :-/

GT4 came out 3 months after japan in NA, 4 months for europe. GT3 was a 2 month delay, GT2 was a 2 week delay.

anybody who actually believed GT5 would be released this holiday needed a reality check. Gran Turismo games are never released in time for the fat jolly man dressed in red.
The game will come out when it comes out. I can wait. Plenty of other great games coming out this year anyway.
Hopefully it comes out next year during a really slow time in gaming, because I'm sinking hundreds of hours into that bad boy.

I Agree take a year extra an fix all the crappy ps3, ghostbusters, the orange box, bio shock, it only takes one more year.
