Did you feel that? It could only be one of two things: the Large Hadron Collider has exploded, tearing our universe in half, or Alienware has completely shaken "the gaming world to its foundation."

According to Alienware, the M15x is "the most powerful 15-inch gaming laptop in the universe" and its Area-51 and Area-51 ALX are "designed for extreme gamers and tech enthusiasts who demand only the latest, most advanced equipment." Wait ... this can't be ... just as we predicted!

Oh, and the desktops have retractable ventilation scales. Seriously. Better watch out for micro black holes!

Lame. I could build a desktop more powerful and for less.

Agreed. I always prefer desktops for gaming anyway.

couldn't have said it better LAME! To be honest when they started all that talk I thought for sure they were going to anounce something good like the most powerful gaming computer and it only cost $300 or something that would bring PC gaming back to the mainstream but this this was LAME

At least they really like TRON though.

I'm ashamed, I was actually expecting more... This is just "to be expected" from a high end gaming pc company.

If I had money to burn I'd just burn a little more and go with Falcon Northwest anyway over these monstrosities.

The only thing that will be "shaking" are the cans customers will be using to panhandle, after they spend an arm and a leg on these overpriced machines...

So, what's the foundation cracking announcement? The fact that they released a product, like they normally do? Super expensive, technologically up-to-date computer? Or, is it the retractable ventilation scale things?

Eh, the cases for alienware are always nice, but anyone who needs a desktop that powerful should know how to build a far better pc for less. I always wanted to try their laptops though, as you cant really custom build those.

Woah woah, Alienware does not have nice cases, and they never have. If you want a nice case you go to Lian Li or Silverstone. Unless you think a hobillion flashing LEDs and flexible scale things = nice case.

Correction "the most powerful 15-inch gaming laptop in the universe for this year" sounds a bit more accurate.

Also Alienware hardware are great but they weight like a ton kinda defeats the purpose for pc gaming on the go.

There's some audacity in claiming the entire universe on this one. I'd complain more, but I don't care that much. (About the computer, or the universe)
