Did you try the demo?
Just asking because I did and it totally turned me off to this one.
The first one was decent, but with all of the games that came after, I didn't feel that there was enough improved upon to even justify a rental what with all the other GREAT games on the horizon.
The first one was hindered by a very confusing storyline, but then again, it was an Eastern game and something always gets lost in translation.

If you have played the first one, then you know what the gameplay is like. Try out the demo.

I'd like some multiplayer info, hopefully that comes from TGS. I love the first LP (favorite console MP game of all time!), but the demo for 2 really turned me off to the single player changes. Confirmation on a return-to-form fugitive mode and the inclusion of point snatcher would make my day.

It's probably the best looking multiplat title I've seen (the gameplay vids). Cut scenes look awesome too. If it comes close to the level of polish U2 has I will be impressed.

I'm pretty sure most of the gameplay videos were the PC version. Even this video is unlikely to be the console version.

I didn't really get in to LP1 and I know this is only the cut scenes, but this sure does look pretty sweet.

have you played dead space, pretty intense...
I wasn't too big on third person too, until i played dead space and then I realized that it's the content not the perspective that really gets the people into something...
now whether lost planet can bring it is something that is left to be decided...
also...

I liked the first one but really hated the controls.

Anyone recognize that guys voice after their Train stopped in the desert? He sounds like a voice I heard in an anime. Oh yea, he sounds like whats his face from Ergo Proxy.
