I didnt encounter any freezing problem (not to say they dont exist). Wasn't that bad, I really didn't intend to play it, but rented it on a whim. Turned out to be pretty addictive, if maybe a bit of a generic shooter. Fun was had. I ended up actually finishing it.

Yeah, some people do manage to finish the game just fine. Others however will get freezes over and over and some people get to the point where they can no longer advance. Apparently it strikes most often in the airfield. The current theory is that the saves are being corrupted. If you go to the Wolfenstein forum over at XBox.com you can see quite a bit of discussion about it: http://forums.xbox.com/1629/ShowForum.aspx
In particular check out the thread titled "wolfenfreeze". I'm just throwing this out there for a warning for those interested in the game. I personally like the single player campaign, but the 360 version is a bit of a crap shoot.

If there is an issue with the PS3 version I haven't seen anyone talk about it. Whereas if you go to the Wolfenstein board at XBox.com, Gamefaqs, or Ravengames.com (hell, pretty much any 360 board) there are multiple threads about freezing on the first page. A quick scan of similar boards related to the PS3 doesn't turn up the same results. But I guess I'll find out soon since I sent the 360 version back to Gamefly in exchange for the PS3 version.

Zombies is probably some really good deal on Left4Dead so they can lighten their inventory before L4D2 comes out.

It was the Slimer Amazon edition, not the regular.

Yeah, Return of the Living Dead definitely started it. It became a staple from then onwards. Also, that was the first use of running zombies I can recall. Fantastic movie.

I used my 10 dollar ODST credit to pick up Wolfenstein. 30 isn't bad.
I would have used it on Uncharted 2, but I'd lose my free release date shipping I put on it when I had Prime.

It was only $1 off Castlevania?? How can you can that a "deal"?
I hope the zombie game is L4D. What % off are these deals usually??

It was $9.01 off Amazon's Price.
MSRP was 29.99
Amazon was selling it for 28.99.
Gold Box made it 19.98

This was the impetus I needed to pick up Wolfenstein. I had just played the demo last night and thought, "This isn't worth $60, but I'd pay $40." Here it is at $40. And now here it comes to my mailbox.

I though Wolfenstein was underrated. The reviews (especially IGN) seemed to bash it for not really being open world, and for not doing anything crazy new and innovative. If you really like FPS's Wolfenstein is solid, though. Some people had problems with the game freezing up, I never encountered any though.

Oh, and while the single player is great, don't expect anything from the multiplayer. It's not about to replace Modern Warfare, Halo, or TF2.
