I'll be honest, I saw Breaking Benjamin and wasn't impressed. But then I listed to the songs just now on iTunes, and realized not only did I like the songs, but I knew them, and will be buying this pack.

For some reason I never connected the artist with these songs.

Bravo Harmonix for another great week.

I used to hear all about breaking ben living in their hometown. Bought the first album and it was solid, after that it was just more of the same to me.

Breaking Benjamin had some instrumental tracks in TRON 2.0 Killer App (Xbox version) multiplayer.

It sucked.

HARD.

Didn't they reform for a little bit a couple of years ago? Ah, Britpop...how I remember thee.

I'm definitely going to pick those up (as well as a few of the Alice In Chains tracks), for the nostalgia of playing along to Hey Dude when I was learning guitar in high school if nothing else.

The thing is that Alice in Chains rock harder than any of this new baby rock stuff that's out now.
I do like Breaking Benjamin, but Alice in Chains will eat them for breakfast. Ok, that would be zombified Layne Staley coming back from the dead to break Benjamin and then eat them. But, that only exemplifies how hard core AiC really is!

It's funny how Trent looks like TEH BIG BURLY MAN nowadays and is still most famous for material that's borderline industrial emo.

Don't get me wrong, I love NIN - or at least, PHM/TDS/The Fragile - but I do love picking at the man.

When was the last time that there was any content released for GHWT, as I can't seem to remember when Activision started to ignore their customers again with their latest version released.

Rock Band continues to rule!

Definitely picking up both the Breaking Benjamin pack and the Alice in Chains pack. A Looking in View doesn't seem to be as good as the others, but for $.50 I'll just get the whole AiC pack.

Yeah. They patched it in today, you can sort all songs by star count like you can by band name, etc.

Why is Breaking Benjamin the picture for this news? I would say Alice in Chains was and is a bigger band. Your talking about one of the major 90's bands. Lane and co aught be the picture here, not a bunch of Twilight lookalikes.

I'm with you. If they did go with AiC, though, they put themselves in the unenviable position of picking a picture with the long-deceased lead or the new lead.

Man, normally I'd be excited for an AIC pack but between not having heard the new stuff, No Excuses already being in GH:M, and still being sick of Rooster after all these years, I guess I'm only in for Would?

Only BB song I like was that one from Halo 2. Yes, I have heard other songs by them. Oh well.

The new album is GOOD! Trust me. I know you may think no one can replace Layne (and they can't!), but the soul of AIC is still 100% there. Give it a shot. They worked hard on this album.

I'd rather have Got Me Wrong in the AIC pack, but I'll probably get the others anyway (at least Rooster, Would?, and No Excuses).

BB pack is pretty solid; guess they went for 1 track from each album (or at least the 3 albums since Saturate).

Kula Shaker, I'm disappointed in. No 'Hush'? Granted, it was from a soundtrack, but that is the only song of theirs I know (that I can think of at least).

So the september release rumours for a Queen track pack were false. Weird, as the previous weeks were pretty spot on.
