Apparently players will be controlling the ghost of a recently passed gentleman, piecing together clues to solve his own murder. That's some trick, you crazy ghost! Yeah, that what it would have been called had Capcom not copyrighted "Sengoku Basara."

Oh, and Crayfish, this game is TONS better in my opinion. It has a really cool storyline, the characters are different and personable, and the characters have diverse movesets and skills. There are very few people with the same moveset in this game, other than 2 or 3 of the ninjas, but even they have different skills.
It's kinda like watching an anime, if you like anime at all.
This is truly one of my most anticipated titles of next year.

So is Sengoku Basara just like Dynasty Warriors or better somehow?
I ask because I've always be *this* close to picking up whatever the latest Dynasty Warriors game is, but the reviews which typically amount to "this is the same old thing they've been doing every year and they need to freshen it up" manage to stop me short

I swear, maybe I didn't get far enough in Sengoku Basara 2, but I never heard him say that phrase.
Masamune usually says "Are you leady?" or "Hea we gow!" a lot, but when I first heard that phrase, I fell out laughing. A lot of the stuff he says in English is strange and hilarious.
Oh, and don't get me started on the Shingen/Yukimura conversations ever since SB1/Devil Kings. Man, those are a headache sometimes.

Since I started the series by playing the games, when I found out about the anime, I went running to see it, and IT CHOKE ON A COCK. It's very terrible, and has nothing to do with the game aside from character...designs?
The vids Kenoji posted are awesome! Is it me or Ieyasu is a nod to God Hand? Just look at his special!

I'll probably get this game. I've also been waiting to get a Dynasty Warriors type game for the PS3, I was originally going to get 6 but because of the horrible reviews I decided not to.
I'm near enough convinced to go with this game instead of the next Dynasty Warriors/Warriors Orochi game.
