PSN and iPhone Droplitz on sale again, Facebook version released
Atlus has announced that the Blitz Games puzzler, Droplitz, is on sale once again. The price has been slashed fifty percent, knocking the game down to $4.99 on PSN and a paltry $0.99 on the iPhone. Unfortunately, Steam and Xbox 360 users are out of luck, as the price on those platforms remains $10. However, if you still want to get your Droplitz on but don't feel like forking over the cash, Atlus has also released a Facebook version. It's available now, just itching to keep you from accomplishing anything meaningful. Just like the rest of Facebook!
Atlus didn't elaborate on how long the sale would last, so interested PSN users and iPholk should probably act fast.

Is it any good?

It will kick your ass. It's challenging for all the wrong reasons, the progression of the game combined with the cumbersome mechanics of the gameplay are a confusing mess. When you do something right you don't know how you did it, when you do something wrong you aren't aware you've done anything. There is no punishment for your failure, and as such there isn't any reward for your success in the game. It's the worst sort of puzzle game in that it makes no attempt at challenging your capacity for problem solving, it just persists with it's insulting barrage of meaningless challenges that serve only to test your temper.
It belongs where it is as the worst selling Xbox LIVE Arcade game of all time. Obviously try the Facebook app if this kind of game sounds appealing to you. All in all it's just another terrible game from Blitz Arcade and you'd only be financing their quest to produce more.

It's really good and not that hard to get a hang of the gameplay.

Too bad you paid for it on PC. $10 for another crappy Blitz game is ridiculous.

XLM @ Sep 26th 2009 6:59PM
I guess I found more whimsey in your comment that .99 is the most you'll pay for a game on your phone, but that $2 is change than you did.
No worries, I fully understand what was being discussed.
