There were plenty of game titles at TGS that we couldn't read because they were all in Japanese, but only one that we couldn't read in English.
In fact, it was only because of the Japanese title underneath this logo, for an Akella-developed MMO published in Japan by Acquire, that we could parse this unfortunate image at all. Good luck!
Ulotirch, actually you are slightly wrong. what the Japanese do is combine the L and R sounds into one letter. Most of the time when a Japanese word containing this L/R sound is romanized (translated into English), it is written as an R. However, it is also considered both acceptable and correct to write such letters as Ls. One good example of this is the Japanese name れな, which you see translated both as "Rena" and "Lena" fairly often.
Obviously your lack of artistic talents is shown by such a statement. It isn't just yellow on yellow. No! The writing is in a bright, golden yellow, while the background is a mixture of "Baby poo orange" and "drunken yellow".
I think the logo designer should probably get some credit. If it wasn't for his horrible logo, almost no one would ever know what Fragoria is. There isn't such a thing as bad advertising after all.
Little Hiro-san is holding his large box of cookies because it was instructed to only give cookies to those that correctly deciphered the title. Sadly he has only handed out three cookies. Poor Hiro-san.
And I thought my 1st grade Japanese reading skills would never prove useful, thanks Rosetta Stone!! But seriously, that looks more like a black metal band then a game...
BLACK metal? No no no.... as some dude mentioned earlier, it's much more POWER metal looking than anything.
Besides it is much more readable than most extreme metal logos and isn't a bunch of jagged intersecting white lines that looks like a Rorschach test from a distance.
