Well, buncha crap til the 29th, then a pretty solid pack.
dark_inchworm (stronger than never, ever before) @ Sep 28th 2009 1:40PM
"The Stroke" is THE BEST.
Tiptup300 @ Sep 28th 2009 2:19PM
Wow, an entire pack of my least favorite songs from QotSA! Joy!
VaultBoy @ Sep 28th 2009 4:23PM
I could jam on some Wolfmother, and the Halloween pack looks good too. Bout time they put in some Misfits. I'll see their AstroZombies and raise them a Die Die My Darling!
Sly (Now equipped with DS!) @ Sep 28th 2009 5:28PM
yeah, wolfmother is awesome.
Archon (PSN: Archonik, XBL: DarkARHN) @ Sep 28th 2009 1:36PM
I do know some of the artists, but don't know the songs... Still, looks like a good month for Guitar Hero... Unless, Harmonix releases the rumoured Queen Pack and completely tramples the whole week of GH DLC...
sho220 @ Sep 28th 2009 1:38PM
beautiful people, nice! hopefully that comes to RB seeing as i don't have GH :/
Ben Forbes @ Sep 28th 2009 1:40PM
Have they just... picked the least-known tracks by the artists?
Jimmy @ Sep 29th 2009 11:52AM
Yes! Misfits forever!
SPOPS @ Sep 28th 2009 2:21PM
Where are the good rock tracks? I want to see some Linkin Park, Disturbed, etc...
T @ Sep 28th 2009 2:34PM
The "good tracks" you are looking for will be in Guitar Hero: and Guitar Hero: Smash Hits 2.
mywhitenoise @ Sep 28th 2009 2:36PM
If you want "good" rock tracks, you should start by not listening to crap bands like Linkin Park and Disturbed. Seriously.
SPOPS @ Sep 28th 2009 3:52PM
Linkin Park and Disturbed are 2 good bands. Ok, how about some Greenday, Nickelback, etc... ??
Martin @ Sep 28th 2009 3:53PM
Or you could just accept that other people might like a band that you don't. It'll sting at first, but you might get used to it.
SPOPS @ Sep 28th 2009 3:58PM
Thank you Martin. I like those bands and really enjoy there music. I just wish that Guitar Hero would get some better tracks. The tracks in the game were somewhat dissapointing, and now so is the DLC.
Sly (Now equipped with DS!) @ Sep 28th 2009 5:29PM
"Linkin Park and Disturbed are 2 good bands. Ok, how about some Greenday, Nickelback, etc... ??"
Do you also like the jonas brothers and hannah montana?
alinos @ Sep 28th 2009 6:49PM
the only good band listed in this bunch is disturbed , nickleback is terrible greenday have gotten worse over the years and linken park is linken park
Wewtaco @ Sep 28th 2009 8:30PM
As much as I want more Nickelback, Disturbed, Green Day, and Linkin Park tracks, I still think you don't have to be a douche and dis the tracks already on it. Different people like different things. There has been some tracks from each of those artists, let's let others have a chance.
the_pop @ Sep 29th 2009 8:25PM
I had my suspicions this guy was a troll.
His post adding he liked Green Day and Nickelback confirmed them.
Eric @ Sep 28th 2009 1:44PM
HAHAHAHA Billy Squire HAHAHAHAHA!
vwbeetlvr @ Sep 28th 2009 1:45PM
BOO.... these suck. Luckily i got 1000 gs on this game and i'm pretty much done with it.
Hafkie @ Sep 28th 2009 1:52PM
QotSA, nice to see some of their early stuff.
This whole month ranges from decent to awesome. I'll probably skip out on the Billy Squier, but everything else might get a buy.
I really wish they would start going beyond 3 packs, though. They have released, what, 2 albums? And maybe one large size pack?
CrissCross87 @ Sep 28th 2009 1:53PM
Geeze, the only track I would want from here is "Beautiful People"
It takes Rock Band only 1-2 weeks to have this many songs available! I thought Activision liked money? Why are they being so slow/ lazy?
JIB @ Sep 28th 2009 2:01PM
Maby its because Harmonix has MTV to help them out. Just a thought...
CrissCross87 @ Sep 28th 2009 2:24PM
But Guitar Hero does better in sales, which should be more enticing to music bands to encourage support
MarkHawk @ Sep 28th 2009 2:53PM
Normally this is where I would say quality over quantity but Rock Band has both here.
deaftly (PSN,LIVE,STEAM) @ Sep 28th 2009 1:53PM
QOTSA is a must
DeadPlasmaCell @ Sep 28th 2009 2:05PM
QOTSA, ftw
BigB @ Sep 28th 2009 2:06PM
I'm thinking of getting GH5 just for Misfits alone. Wish RB would hit up Misfits
Matt @ Sep 28th 2009 2:10PM
...still waiting for GH:Metallica DLC...
Someone really screwed that deal up. Either the sales of GH:Metallica didn't live up to expectations or Metallica wants too much in royalties for DLC.
Archon (PSN: Archonik, XBL: DarkARHN) @ Sep 28th 2009 2:20PM
It was announced before the release of GH:M, that the game will not feature Downloadable Content other then the Death Magnetic DLC.
dark_inchworm (stronger than never, ever before) @ Sep 28th 2009 2:21PM
If I remember correctly, there won't be GH:M DLC, outside of the eternally-reusable Death Magnetic.
dark_inchworm (stronger than never, ever before) @ Sep 28th 2009 2:22PM
Bollocks!
Matt @ Sep 28th 2009 2:23PM
Wow, thanks, I didn't know that. Still it's very unfortunate, considering Metallica's catalog. I'm sure it came down to licensing, royalties, etc. i.e. $$$ for Metallica!
HaloEleven @ Sep 28th 2009 3:46PM
Big mistake. I would have bought the whole Metallica catalog in DLC - much like I'll buy the whole Beatles catalog starting with Abbey Road next month.
Hafkie @ Sep 28th 2009 5:24PM
Although I could do without the newer albums (sans magnetic, which is decent and is already DLC), Metallica DLC would be awesome. They have ALL BUT TWO tracks from Master of Puppert on GHM. They should have released Leper Messiah and DAMAGE INC.
And I capitalize DAMAGE INC because it was my most wanted song for GH:M. Although the game was great, it would have been amazing if it had DAMAGE INC!
Tom Boucher @ Sep 28th 2009 2:10PM
I'd take Stroke, Freeze Frame, and The Beautiful people. The last one just to see my 8 year old girl sing it.
Greg @ Sep 28th 2009 2:12PM
Misfits FTW!

MowDownJoe @ Sep 28th 2009 2:32PM
Hey, Wolfmother's damn good.
That said, no songs from the first album? That Wolfmother pack fails, hard.
cmpunk305 @ Sep 28th 2009 2:23PM
I want Billy Talent songs. Or more Rise Against.
Storm Eagle [Resident Capcom Megafan] @ Sep 28th 2009 2:28PM
I think you want Rock Band for all your Rise Against needs.
Savior
Re-Education Through Labor
Prayer of the Refugee
KENTA @ Sep 28th 2009 3:19PM
I already have the Rise Against DLC pack for Guitar Hero WT.
It had Death Blossom, Audience of One and Ready to Fall.
AUS_JD @ Sep 28th 2009 9:23PM
Storm Eagle [Resident Capcom Megafan] said
"I think you want Rock Band for all your Rise Against needs."
Guitar Hero has 4 Rise against songs vs 3 in Rock Band.
Need assement fail.
thecrazedgeek @ Sep 29th 2009 6:17AM
They both have four songs each- Guitar Hero has Re-Education (Through Labor) as a WT exportable song, and Rock Band 2 has Give It All on disc, along with the aforementioned DLC.
Storm Eagle [Resident Capcom Megafan] @ Sep 28th 2009 2:24PM
It must really burn Neversoft that Rock Band has all the good songs and their DLC is forever forced to suck.
The only good stuff for the entire month is the Hallow's Eve Pack. And even that's kind of meh...
itGOESWOAR @ Sep 28th 2009 2:47PM
"It must really burn Neversoft that Rock Band has all the songs I like and Neversoft hasn't put has much DLC that interests me personally."
I fixed your reply. I'll never understand why people can't see past their noses regarding music and as an extension, music games.
I don't own GH5 and was not going to purchase until now. QOTSA songs from the first (my favorite) album means instant purchase of the game for me. You don't have to love the content, but let's not assume it sucks because it doesn't suit you personally.
Storm Eagle [Resident Capcom Megafan] @ Sep 28th 2009 3:45PM
Well considering you get QOTSA on Rock Band as well, what makes you buy this game over RB?
And if you're going to drop $60 just for three tracks, well, then that's your choice. I just hope you can find more songs you like among the mess of tracks this game has to offer.
Hafkie @ Sep 28th 2009 5:09PM
The three songs in this QotSA pack are from the first album, which he said was his favorite.
VaultICEE @ Sep 28th 2009 10:01PM
You're going to buy an entire game and DLC for 3 songs??
Wow
