Popcap, do you know that you guys create digital drugs? Simply wondering, because THIS IS GOING TO BE AN ADDICTION TO MANY, MANY PEOPLE AND IT WILL BE AN UNSHAKEABLE ONE.

Must have been a pretty darn good joke.

Did you hear the one about the world's productivity going down the crapper?

Hilarious!

I think more games should start off as jokes.

@inchworm: They made a game featuring your mother already? But how did they find a camera with such a wide angled lens?

I typically don't like "your mom" jokes, but this made me laugh.

Props to both of you! :D

I wonder if Plants vs. Zombies started out as some kind of joke too. What about Peggle? Maybe this is just business as usual over at Popcap...

Imagine if World of Warcraft got a version of Gyromancer in-game like it did Bejeweled and Peggle. WoW+Square Enix+PopCap? Dear god, that combined force would be unstoppable, with its appeal to pretty much every gamer type on the planet.

Squeenix already makes Final Fantasy MMOs. Most likely, Gyromancer would appear in one of those.

I know! That's what I said in the last Gyromancer article.
It's demented!

@MoeDownJoe

FFXI doesn't have the open-ended LUA structure to enable in-game addons, including ones like the PopCap games. Maybe XIV will have it, but XI doesn't, so I wouldn't expect to see it in that game. WoW's the only one with such open-ended addon structure that I know of.

Square Enix, why?

My life... it's fading... away... *poof*

Seriously, I'm going to have to put this off until the summer. I can't afford failing any classes because of this game.

It looks exactly like Puzzle Quest, graphics are way better though, so I guess its not exactly like it. Looks pretty cool, I really enjoyed PQ

I only recently bought Puzzle Quest on XBLA when it was being discounted, and I've been playing that pretty much non stop. So this definitely has my interest.
