TGS 2009: Resonance of Fate trailer, now with 100% fewer bullets

While there's chance for greatness in tri-Ace's upcoming story, we can't say that's what's keeping us interested in the game. For once, could it be that a JRPG is keeping our attention more for its gameplay than its pre-rendered cutscenes?

End of Eternity? What is with these RPG names? That's almost as bad as naming a game "The Brightness of the Dark" or "Fatal Healing".

Guys if you don't find interesting JPRG's anymore why bother and mumbling every time a decent title is released? I mean at this time the industry is fucked with all this american crappy games with ultra polished vaseline graphics no story at all unless chuck norris films have a story! Actually the sales in the Western territory say that these titles are more interesting. JRPGs were never deeply appreciated in the western territories by the mass! Maybe they cannot understand them I don't care the point is to stop criticize falsly great games. What is more interesting than a fantasy game with deep emotional and intense story! I mean JRPGs are a port of Anime on the videogame world! The people is too narrow minded to understand the magic of the games as it is too narrow minded to understand the title! Just go play gta or gears of war.

It has nothing to do with not being able to understand them.. Just watch the damn trailer, it's nothing but pretentious dribble told by a band of irritating characters.
Shame too, as the actual gameplay looks quite good.

any1 know if this game is gona be dubbed in english? i hope not! like my anime i watch, i like Japanese Audio w/English subs. i hope this is the 1rst title we see like that. I HATE ENGLISH DUBS!

This is the first trailer to come out that actually makes me want to play this.
The only thing that would make it better would be if they released it completely without english voice acting and you got to hear the original japanese with english subs.

Maybe it's just me, but I think the story looks pretty interesting. But everyone has their own opinions, of course. :x I love the hair in this game; it flows with such a realistic-ness to it. I would even go so far as to say the hair looks more realistic than hair in FF13 does, but that's only in terms of actual gameplay (FF13 obviously looks superior in all its other departments, especially in its CG cutscenes).
This game will get dubbed (duh), but I hope they let us choose Japanese w/ subs.

i love how unbiased Joystiq is! Please just give us info/content without all of the opinions. (and please bare in mind, just because you don't like a genera or game doesn't make it a bad game!)
