Lucidity clearly priced at $10

LucasArts' dreamy platformer, Lucidity, has received an official price of $10 (800

in Microsoft's fantasy currency world). While the team behind the title jested with selling a single $3,000,000 copy and calling it a day, they thankfully opted to include all of us at a more reasonable price. And if 300,000 of us get lured in by the side-scrolling adventure, it'll work out about the same!

Look for Lucidity on October 7th on PC and Xbox Live Arcade.

I would buy it but I already promised my wife that I won't buy any more games this year after ODST and COD:MW2. I already got ODST but am waiting on COD. (Pre-Ordered with amazon for $38.99!!!)

This is how I got COD:MW for $38.99

1) Pre-ordered ODST from Amazon and received a $10 credit for next purchase on video game

2) Received a $5 credit for entering halo odst promo code at check out

3) Signed up with the eca for free via cheap-ass gamer giving me a 10% discount on any video game purchase.

So a total of $21 off a new game. $60-$21 = $39

Now let me tell you how I got Halo ODST from amazon for $34.99... (really, i did)

Sweet. I might have been willing to shell out $15 for Lucidity, but at $10 it'll be impossible to resist.

Guess you don't buy Halo, Uncharted, etc. since those are platformed biased right?

When PS3 Slim and Xbox360 come out with standard 256GB SKU @$300, that'll be the sweet spot when we will see more multi-console owning homes.

Thinking about working on a beefy HTPC for gaming. It's as simple as an extra 360 controller wireless dongle, if you already have 360 controllers.

I'm sure this will be on Steam (PC) which is where I'll get it.

Im pretty sure a 256GB bundle isnt coming.

Pretty sure there is a very high probability of a 250gb bundle for both consoles before 2010. I mean we already know about the MW2 bundle for the 360, and several of the bundles for PS3. It's just a matter of when.

I'm very interested in buying this, but I wont unless it releases on the PSN. I don't have any sort of console bias; my 20gig 360 HDD just doesn't have the room for this.

Although pretty, it looks pretty simple. I bet the game is very small on XBLA. Just delete a crappier title, like Braid.

Yeah, but he was calling me out on saying "256GB" instead of "250GB", but they're already coming in bundles, so it's simply a matter of time until, that size becomes the standard. I would say it'd be smart for Sony to do that in the Spring or Summer, to capitalize on "slow" gaming months, and the spate of delays.

It's not really 250GB anyway - more like 232GB. ;P
