GameFly changes Alpha Protocol release to 'TBD'

Further requests for clarification from Sega continue to be met by the Sega Wall of Silence™. We have been told by the company's development director that we should expect "an update shortly via PR." And for the record, the official release date for Alpha Protocol is still next Tuesday. Sega?

I'm still looking forward to this game. But after reading the KOTOR2 post earlier, I was reminded of the last game Obsidian did that got rushed out the door to hit a deadline. I am now content to wait for this game, provided it arrives polished and complete.

Between the SEGA guy's leak that bemoaned Alpha Protocol's quality and compared it unfavourably to Mass Effect, and the fact that not one, but two Bioware games will be releasing within the next three or four months, it's not too much of a surprise that Alpha Protocol's release has been postponed for a while.

the leak was a meeting between Sega execs and i think Sony ones? Idk if obsidian was there or not, but either way a lot of stuff got tossed around like "barely and rpg" blah blah that sounded like the big wigs wanted to fix it
