I really hope they deliver on the MP. It's going to be tough to compete with the likes of Uncharted 2 and GTA IV....atleast in terms of 3rd person shooters.

Yeah, I want something like GTA4 where I can access the entire city with a group of friends. I loved those chases between 2 guys in a chopper and two guys in a fast car.

Chase, that's exactly what Crackdown 1 had...Only 2 person coop rather than massive numbers...Hopefully they can increase that count.

I still haven't picked up a 360 of my own (play my bro-in-law's), but by gosh, Crackdown and its impending sequel have me ready to pull the trigger.

okay but if the deathmatch is JUST crackdown, you know...that's fine. cause crackdown was fun :]

I remember me and my friend would just make our own deathmatch vs each other. it was fun when we had nothing to do. I have really high hopes for crackdown 2, 1 was great, wasn't perfect, but DEFINITELY fun!

Sounds like they should add a horde mode.

Crackdown was better before they patched being able to lock-on Firefly missiles onto your partner, because that's what my friend and I did for hour upon hour was to 'accidentally' lock on 4 or 5 rockets to the other person and then try to elude them when they came back for vengeance.

This is awesome, I really hope that they support this game though, unlike the first one.

They aren't zombies. They are mutants that were from the first game. They were just citizens that were experimented on. So no zombies here.

This game better be good. All they have to do is play Infamous and realize everything they did wrong in the first game.

Don't get me wrong the first game was pretty good, but no replay value. Perfect rental game. Damn Halo 3 beta made me, and about a million other people, pull the trigger irresponsibly.

Yes I have, and it was very unimpressive but that's beside the point. I said prototype because now that they're putting "zombies" in the game why should I play this when I pretty much already have?

They're mutations of the freaks from the first game, not "zombies". You're asking why you should play this game? that's like asking why you should play this fps over this fps. if you don't feel like playing it, then don't, but don't troll. prototype and crackdown are similar, but not the same.

I saw the preview videos of the multiplayer and realized that this is the type of multiplayer game that I hate.

Just a bunch of insane jumping and running around shooting. I thought FPS's were past that by now. For those that like that sort of thing more power to ya.

*I'm not knocking it and I enjoyed the original in 07 but I prefer a more tactical slower pace shooter now*

I feel the same about most shooter games. Death match is played out. It's the same game with different models and maps. I got tired of that shit back in Quake3 and Unreal Tournament.

I hope they allow the players to modify the attributes etc. Halo 3's custom game style.

For example, in a capture point/hostage/bomb gametype, the attacking team could have much higher agility + strenght, but the defending team would be excel in every other stat and have homing-missile launchers on top of that to take care of those pesky jumpers.

Viola, a gametype invented in 60 seconds that with a bit of tweaking could be something I'd keep playing for weeks. See how much potential the game suddenly has?

"According to Iannetta, this new enemy type has been added so that players no longer feel as though they are the most powerful thing roaming the streets."

Last time I checked that was pretty much the appeal of the 1st game.

Agreed.

MORE POWER!

On a side note, glad they're finally showing more of the SP. Personally, I got bored fast of shooting my mates. A rock crawling competition on the beachfront with the buggies was where the fun was at.

Crackdown is for me the best suprise hit of the generation. The sequeal will dominate and I think they will get the multiplayer right. I really hope anyway.

"According to Ruffian, melee is getting a substantial upgrade to make it more of a go-to option during battle."

this is too bad in my opinion. one of the more annoying things about halo multiplayer is how often fights are resolved in melee.
