PSP firmware 6.10 is live and ready to Go

Version 6.10 of Sony's handheld's firmware announced earlier this evening is now ready for download. Hit the System Update option from the Settings section of your XMB, download, install and let us know what you think of the "mood music" SensMe whips up from your song library. Much to our disappointment, initial testing reveals that Sony didn't implement our "I just made an expensive impulse purchase" mood after all.

Wow is PSP turning into IPod now?.It sure looks like it with these features but they need to add more Variety like more selection of colors Red is not my favorite color its Green! Lime Green perhaps..But what I think is ridiculous is that HOME is now Corrupted shame on you Eric Lempel!

I have a question tho, does the official PS3 mic from Sony work with the PSPGo? And is it a good blutooth?

Isn't the whole point of tethering the ability to connect to a phone, to access the internet, when there isn't wifi present?

@Viney: Some phones with wifi can be turned into access points. You can then connect to them like any other AP and use your phone's 3G connection. JoikuSpot is one such app for S60 phones, I'm sure there are others for WinMo and Android.

I believe the "I just made an expensive impulse purchase" falls under the self loathing and disgusted mood whether or not SensMe can detect that is yet to be seen I guess.

Okay... for future reference, SensMe blows unless you already have used Media Go to let it understand what the song is (as in the mood, beats-per-minute, etc.)

Right now I'm sing Media Go and allowing it to gather data on my 3100+ songs for future reference. Click on "Create a SensMe Playlist" and leave the program alone until it finishes to do the same.

This is gonna be a while... time to watch a movie!

I kind of hoped it would have some kind of Vis, Moods are kind of just some ugly pictures, it'd be easier just to play your songs without loading 20+megs worth of app to do it.

I guess its trying to be like itunes library but I don't see it as anything fantastic.

I think you misunderstood me I meant that with my cell phone their is always a wi fi hot spot so I can thether my old psp to my cell with wi fi

wow. i didn't even know you could tether your Go to a bluetooth phone. still not enough to make me buy one but a nice feature none-the-less. i do need a new PSP since my launch one has all but kicked the bucket but i'll probably end up getting a 3000 when i do.
