As awesome as mister Heck is, the hardware team at Sony (and even Nintendo and Microsoft) could easily put a PS3 in a case even smaller than this if they had a budget to work with. They'd just have to charge you several limbs for it, which is why they don't make things as cool and small as they can.

I don't know for the pedantic, but for the anal black is the "combination of color" if you're talking painted pigments. Black is "the lack of color" if you're talking about light.
For light: All colors combined = white
For pigments: All colors combined = black.
Now if you were talking about a PS3 that has no paint, but was instead clothed in a radiant splendor, then you are both correct and freakin' awesome.

Yes, good point. It's true that when using paints and pigments, adding them together will eventually lead to a dark purplish/brown mess, often close enough to be called 'black." I'm talking about light and visibility when I use the term "absence of color" to describe "black," because as you mentioned, all colors together in the intangible realm of light and visibility add up to white.
Since the ability to even see painted pigments, a red ball, a green sweater, or the trillions of other things in our visible world is determined by the amount of light available which allows us to see it, and since color is determined with how light emanates from it, or rather, which colors of the full spectrum of light reflect off of it into our eyes, black is achieved through absence of color. An object that reflects little or no light/color back to your eye is black.
So yeah, like I said, "pedantic."
Either way you arrive at it, a black portable PS3 would definitely be "the shit."

not sure why anyone would really want or buy this? id rather have a ps3 hooked up to my 37 inch 1080p tv at home. i mean are you really going to benefit from having it as laptop form, its still large. and its not super difficult to do all this, just takes patience and a little electronic know how. im not discrediting what he does i just dont see why people drool over this stuff.
