Capture equipment? It's just a camera pointed at an HDTV... you could at least pivot the TV so you're not capturing it on an angle :P

It's been changed. I swapped out the crummy direct-feed and took some off-screen shots of the store on my projector. Hence, the angle. :)

Edit: after squinting VERY hard, I read that the award applies to all their sports games, and not just Hockey. Well I guess it's easy to win GOTY Awards in sports categories when you're the only one putting them out in certain ones.

No it says that NHL 09 won 12 Sports Game of the Year awards. But come on man don't be so bias against EA. All Pro football sucked, NHL 09 was way better than NHL 2K9 and MLB The Show kills MLB 2K9 every year. The only thing 2K got going for them is basketball and that is getting stale.

Storm Eagle, I'm guessing you haven't played a sports game since 2005? 2k sports has gone way downhill.

And comparing NHL 2k9 to NHL 09 is a joke. NHL 09 was a universally 95/100 game, NHL 2k9 is more like a 45/100 game. The same holds true for 2010 versions.

The 2k hockey games don't even get a review page anymore in game magazines because they're so lackluster (rather they just get thrown in the little "quick hits" section where they write a paragraph about it and throw a 5/10 on there) while the EA NHL games get 2-3 page featured reviews and then get named game of the month.

#2. Hate me all you want, but I will always loathe EA. I hate Madden, Live is a joke, they can't make a decent NASCAR game, I've always (personally) enjoyed 2K's Hockey better and well, I won't comment on Tiger or FIFA because I don't play either one - not my cup of tea. As far as baseball goes, yes MLB the Show is way above and beyond Major League Baseball 2K5. But back when MVP was around, that series was always second best. Say what you will, but it's all personal opinion here.

Oh, and I also happened to like All-Pro Football as well. Sure, it was basically NFL 2K5 without the NFL, but what's wrong with that?

Saying you prefer NHL 2k9/10 to NHL 09/10 is like saying you prefer Area 51: Blacksite to CoD4.

I'm sure there are people who do, but that doesn't make how good they are any more similar.
