"2630 WINDMILL PKY, HENDERSON, NV 89074"

This breaks my little gamer heart. I used to ride my bike to that gamecrazy in the days of old, purchased and traded tons of stuff there back in the day.

(They even let me trade in my modded gamecube)

I'm far far away now or I'd go visit out of nostalgia.

How are the closing stores indicated on the Game Crazy store locator screen?

It looks like if a store near you isn't listed then that's one that's going to close. Doesn't help if you don't know where all the Game Crazy's near you are unless you also check where the nearest Hollywood Video is as well.

No they ment if you already know of a store that's closing.. Like you drove by and there's a big "We're Closing" sign in the window... Use the Store Locator to get it's exact address and copy/paste it to their tip line.

considering the Go JUST Came out today...(and I doubt outside of Walmart anyone sold any at midnite, in the US)

I don't see how you can blame that on this...especially considering this is obviously months in the making..

Trade them in with Best Buy or Amazon as well. You can go into Gamestop with trade in prices for other stores, and go with whoever has the better deal.

If it isn't listed, then the instructions to copy and paste the address do not make much sense.

Oh, I see mine.

I never go anyway, its a bit far away and if I'm going to go that far I might as well go a bit farther and go to play N trade. But I'll jump on the sales at mine. hopefully not many other people do so I can grab some stuff on the cheap

I know the Brentwood/Franklin, TN shopping areas pretty well, and even I have no damn clue where that Brentwood location is. Maybe that explains why it's shutting down?

I'll be checking this out...

The one in Hendersonville is right down the street from me. I was slightly excited at first that I would be getting good deals, but now, not so much. I will miss going in there and I especially enjoyed going there the day after Thanksgiving. :( It will be missed.

Oh Garfield NJ store, why didn't I visit you at least once!! I drive past you every day on the way to work. Surely I could have gone in at least once and checked the used game selection? Maybe I could have saved you...

Wait what? You're not on the list of closing stores?

Eh.. maybe I'll stop by next week. Or not.

You got lucky. The DM there, Diane, is the biggest tool ever to roam the retail landscape. You would have spent most of your time with your nose up her rear or not lasted long anyhow.

I ran the Orem, UT store for a while but, alas, my DM was a prick and I soon absconded to Rhino Video Games which closed 4 months later and ended my trend of gaming retail employment.

I feel your pain, brother. My DM fired me before store closing because I refused to sell pre-orders and told customers to use up their credits. I loved my job there, and would do it again in a heartbeat if I got paid properly for it.

I miss the Rhino branding, for some reason. Odd, since they didn't really seem drastically different from Game Crazy or Gamestop in the few visits I made.

The location in Clovis was consistently one of the worst stores in our district and the company a few years back. It has been doing better, but was in a not so good shopping center. Not surprised to see it on the list. The one in Hanford, CA I used to work for just renewed their building lease with Hollywood, so they should be around atleast a few years and likely more.

The Fort Wayne store closings don't shock me at the very least. In these cases, Kroger (yes, the supermarket) is taking over the rest of both of those building that they don't occupy to expand and renovate their stores (the Dupont Road store is expanding into a "Kroger Marketplace"), and adjacent stores moved out eons ago in preparation for the new, bigger Kroger.

Oh well.. at least I know where I can score some cheap Wii games.

They're pulling everything this week to be sent out (redistributed) by Friday. Next week whatever's left, which isn't much because I've seen the list of what's going, will be 80% off (except hardware). Before you get excited, get everything new or rare out of your mind first, because it's being redistributed.

Seriously, what the hell did I (and the employees, I'm sure) do to deserve this!?
