"You wanna know how you do it? Here's how, they pull a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue. That's the Chicago way!"
WREturns (Looking for a graphic designer) @ Oct 1st 2009 5:41PM
"How good of a sword fighter are you?"
Exactly.
Fernando Rocker @ Oct 1st 2009 5:46PM
Jason Vandenbergh look is very awesome... I wish I could grow up a moustache and beard like him.
ripslymemc @ Oct 1st 2009 5:55PM
Was that the guy with long hair?
Seriously, I was listening attentively the whole time to him, he's really good at explaining the game. Oh, and he has a pretty deep voice also. He should be a game announcer...and as weird as this might sound, I'd love to have him in my games.
Red Steel 2 looks great too!
Fernando Rocker @ Oct 1st 2009 6:01PM
Yeah, it was him...
When I buy Red Steel 2, I'm going to pretend that the main character is actually him...
=p

"how good of a sword fighter are you?"
I'm glad the entire game isn't complete realistic sword fighting but it would be a cool side mini game:)
tuunicopapi @ Oct 1st 2009 5:51PM
so if i hold the Wiimote sideways it'll do the samething in the game!? =D now i really want this game!
Marco le Polo @ Oct 1st 2009 5:53PM

I want multiplayer for this game. PLEASE include it.
Local and Online please.
It looks like a badass game but I don't want to spend $50 on a game that will only last me a dozen hours. Multiplayer in FPS games is mandatory unless you have a lengthy single player.
Mr. Fister @ Oct 1st 2009 6:21PM
Actually, I don't think multiplayer would work very well in Red Steel 2. It just doesn't have that whole "play with a friend" vibe to it at all, and besides, other FPS games (Metroid Prime, for example) lacked multiplayer and it still turned out to be really good.
Mr Khan @ Oct 1st 2009 6:29PM
It was an odd choice to exclude it. Part of the reasons that make me wonder why they bothered to call this Red Steel, since this new game is pretty much completely new, aside from the loose premises of east meets west and gun + sword
The only other reason i can think of is the original's million-seller status. Piggy-back a bit.

"For Cold Blooded Accuracy"
I can only say, SWEEEET!!
ill trooper @ Oct 1st 2009 7:07PM
I wish the 'tokyo/modern' motif of the first game was in this game too, I like that more than the wild west vibe, but it seems they're really doing their work to deliver the gameplay what people wanted in the first place, obviously not possible until the MotionPlus addition. Looks cool. I probably won't play it but I hope it does well.
And Joystiq, those ads along the bottom of the video are ANNOYING... God, I don't like where the internet is heading.
Mr Khan @ Oct 1st 2009 8:54PM
it's either go ad-crazy, monetize, or become a martyr.
Porn sites choose the first, stupid sites (like Wall Street Journal) choose the second, and YouTube chooses the third.
Aus_JD @ Oct 2nd 2009 12:14AM
I for one am incredibly glad they dropped the "Tokyo/Modern" vibe.
A bit sick of it really.
Omega2k3 @ Oct 2nd 2009 1:07AM
Mr Khan, YouTube has ads. They even have commercials, now. Yup.
MRLN @ Oct 1st 2009 7:31PM
I'm a f^$*ing awesome sword-fighter, thank you very much.
Asmerom (PSN: neon6plz) @ Oct 2nd 2009 1:17AM
Looking good. When's it coming out?
Mr. Fister @ Oct 2nd 2009 12:46PM
Sometime next year, but no later than March.
squeehunter @ Oct 2nd 2009 8:31AM
Pff. The French making a game about the wild west. You need Italians for that!
