Was that the guy with long hair?
Seriously, I was listening attentively the whole time to him, he's really good at explaining the game. Oh, and he has a pretty deep voice also. He should be a game announcer...and as weird as this might sound, I'd love to have him in my games.
Red Steel 2 looks great too!

Yeah, it was him...
When I buy Red Steel 2, I'm going to pretend that the main character is actually him...
=p

I'm glad the entire game isn't complete realistic sword fighting but it would be a cool side mini game:)

I want multiplayer for this game. PLEASE include it.
Local and Online please.
It looks like a badass game but I don't want to spend $50 on a game that will only last me a dozen hours. Multiplayer in FPS games is mandatory unless you have a lengthy single player.

Actually, I don't think multiplayer would work very well in Red Steel 2. It just doesn't have that whole "play with a friend" vibe to it at all, and besides, other FPS games (Metroid Prime, for example) lacked multiplayer and it still turned out to be really good.

It was an odd choice to exclude it. Part of the reasons that make me wonder why they bothered to call this Red Steel, since this new game is pretty much completely new, aside from the loose premises of east meets west and gun + sword
The only other reason i can think of is the original's million-seller status. Piggy-back a bit.

I wish the 'tokyo/modern' motif of the first game was in this game too, I like that more than the wild west vibe, but it seems they're really doing their work to deliver the gameplay what people wanted in the first place, obviously not possible until the MotionPlus addition. Looks cool. I probably won't play it but I hope it does well.
And Joystiq, those ads along the bottom of the video are ANNOYING... God, I don't like where the internet is heading.

I for one am incredibly glad they dropped the "Tokyo/Modern" vibe.
A bit sick of it really.

Pff. The French making a game about the wild west. You need Italians for that!
