Super Street Fighter IV introduces Dee Jay, Capcom not ruling out arcade release

T. Hawk and Juri managed to bogart most of the spotlight of Super Street Fighter IV's reveal, but there's a third character crashing the party now: Dee Jay. The Jamaican with a taste for tunes (and kicking you in the face!) returns and takes up a healthy amount of real estate in the new trailer above.

The video isn't the only update on the Super Street Fighter IV front, as the game's official blog (translation) mentions Capcom is considering an arcade update. Producer Natsuki Aizawa says while Capcom is looking at the PS3 and Xbox 360 as the main platforms for the expansion, there's still "a chance" it'll come to arcades. "One thing I absolutely want to get across is, we most definitely haven't given up on the arcade Street Fighter IV," she says. We're sure that matters to most Japanese gamers. As for America, we all know arcades are more elusive than the Great Sasquatch.

So wait... does Juri use Psycho Power? Also, was Bison's Psycho Power natural or artificially created?

I'm more worried about Sakura and Makoto both being young in the same timeline. Did Steert Fighter Alpha up until happen within a half year?

So first we have Juli and Juni (SFA 3), and now Juri? She has to be one of Bison's crew (or maybe she WAS part of Shadaloo, but she doesn't look like Juli, Juni, or Cammy. I wonder why...?

Oh well, at least Dee Jay looks awesome.

don't forget about Dudley he is very popular and I sure would like to see him in SSFIV.

Didn't like Yuri, more like a show for Anime fans AND is far more suited to be on a a KOF game than SF franchise, ... SF was always known to appeal on the fighting style first, and the looks to support that.
Zangief - Jambo, Ryu/ ken/ Sakura Shotokan Karate, Dee-jay with a swing for Kickboxing + Capoeira, ( dont forget Elena ) , Guile/ Nash with their surivivor soldier fighting , Chun li/ Gen with it mix Gon Fu, Shaolin , Edmund honda Sumo Style grappling, M Bison boxing, Sagat Muai Thai, etc,etc..

Mystical powers entered with Rose and Vega on Alpha.. was weird.. but not inspiring.. I liked very much the addition of Abel, and El fuerte that was smart!

But Yuri and Crimson Viper ( ugh )..looks like more of a characters you would find on KOF.. like : " oh, look my clothes first!, I am a " fighter", yeah! can do long combos,a and I have crappy secondary motion moves & a bit of Ecchi for the otakus out there..."..

What about Hagar? For years I am waiting they include it.. :-(

BTW, if rumours about " Hakan" is true, is pretty much a wrestler based on the Turkish sport "Gures"... ( he must be Turkish not Arabian ) where wrestlers need to grap each other but oil is ueed to make the thigns more difficult..

Thats a nice catch, is another REAL style.. I hope they add Aikido a la Geese Howard... Dudley is welcome, represents Boxing beautifully/stylish.

Why has no-one said anything about the logo? Looks like the SUPER was written in Word.

And I dont like Yuri cos she beat up that nice traindriver.

I hope this game comes in the form of a DLC update for SFIV, 3 new characters and the word "Super" added to the title doesn't warrant a $59.99 price tag in my opinion.

Are you retarded? Did you not read the fact that it's 8 new characters, new story, new moves for everyone, and re-balancing everything? Oh, plus the fact that Capcom has repeatedly said its not going to be full price? RTFA before you troll.

Jesus Christ, every story about SSFIV is going to have a parade of whiny comments about it being a standalone game?

Welcome to Street Fighter. If the update sucks, then complain, but SFIV needs it so bad everyone serious about the game welcomes an overhaul.

I'm hoping for parrying, turbo speeds, specific character interactions before matches (Ryu vs. Ken brofist), and better online match making (lobbys with chat and match watching, Capcom).

If the leaked characters are real I'm gonna enjoy this (Guy, Ibuki?! DOUBLE NINJA!).
They could put a $100 pricetag on it and I wouldn't mind paying for it.

Anyone that complains about this not being a DLC or anything at all, needs to stop, because they obviously haven't been playing the games long enough to know how the revisions work out. Every game has had more than one version. And frankly, that's a very good thing.
