No, just because I've been around my fair share of roiders, and that's precisely how they act. You want to tell me they don't actively take steroids in the more seedy forms of MMA like UFC? Yeah, and they don't juice in baseball either. I bet you K-1 is clean, but UFC? In your disgusting oily manwrastling dreams.
Actually, the state athletic commissions are a lot tougher here than in other places. If you actually follow MMA, you'll notice how so many of the fighters from Pride in Japan seem to have uh, shrunk, since moving over to the UFC.
You clearly don't watch much MMA if you think the UFC is "seedy". It's about as mainstream as you can get. They're under massive scrutiny from state lawmakers who are considering legalizing MMA in their states.
It's a bit ironic that you think K-1, the organization where freakin' Bob Sapp fought is cleaner than the UFC. I'm sure Sapp got that massive from drinking lots of milk and doing push ups.
And, yes, Jason Miller was just goofing around in that video. He's known for having a fairly eccentric sense of humor and that whole thing was clearly a scripted joke.
As for "oily manwrastling", among the fighters in the UFC are college wrestlers, former Olympians, former teachers, guy's with Master's Degrees...have you even graduated High School yet?
I simply have no respect for any fighting which allows a ground game, that's part of self defense, and not a sporting fight. If a man falls to the floor, and cannot pick himself up to continue fighting, then he had clearly lost. But I'm just the type of guy who wouldn't kick someone when they're down. There's a mentality that permeates through the MMA culture, and that's domination. In that respect, I stand by my oily man wrastling statement because I've seen dogs dominate pillows and legs in the same way. What was I saying? Yeah, they're the same Metal Mulisha types, but that's just the sad impression I get here. I'm sure where you're from the meat-heads grow organic rose gardens and give piano lessons to hopelessly arthritic grannies.
But I do hope the absurdities of boxing judges doesn't creep into your beloved sport.
