The FF-Trolls were really well behaved (relative to internet norms) the first two times this vid was released...
The third time and they all flip out. If you're a FF fan, you know, this is what FF games are and have been since FFIV (for dialog), FFVI (for story), FFVII (for names), FFVIII (for the music), FFX (for the voice acting)...
They are and have been (since IV) cheesy, melodramas, with best of generation graphics and endearing characters.
God I love Final Fantasy!

I think I've figured out the people who are criticizing the people who prefer the Japanese voice acting:
A: They're illiterate and as result absolutely NEED the English voice acting or they will understand NOTHING at all.
B: They're lazy to do some additional reading. You know even though people read everyday and reading is kind of a essential skill in life? And has anyone thought that this game might include dialogue outside of voice acting? Like text? When you WILL have to read?
Seriously guys, come on. I get it, all right? You don't want to read something while watching something you don't understand. I GET THAT. But for some us who may have watched something foreign, it doesn't bother us at all, you see? You ever see Pan's Labyrinth? Good film IMO. There was no English dub option and I was OK with that. Why do I think so? Because the film was originally in Spanish and the story took place in Spain. Wouldn't it be weird if everyone had spoke perfect english despite the setting? I reason that the original language stays true to the way the characters are supposed to sound. Or how about the Full Metal Alchemist anime? The dubs there were pretty good. And personally, I'm not too into Japanese voice acting in which that must be the only thing I hear. MGS3 only has english voice acting and I'm OK with that. And don't call people who like Japanese media weaboos. It's makes you sound so conceited to the point even Uwe Boll would find you somewhat offensive. Just get over yourself.

Dude i get what you're saying -- but how can you say that were SUPPOSED to sound Japanese, by using Pan's Labyrinth as an example. Everyone in Pan's Labyrinth was Spanish, in Spain, playing in a Spanish movie. In FF13 there's only SOME Japanese looking characters, and you have a black person, a surfie white person and an aussie chick. They're not SUPPOSED to sound Japanese. People just don't really want melodramatic English voice acting, but that's just the FF way.

I see it will be just like Aerith's death.
Looks nice. Needed more action music. I want it for PC.

The Afro Guy's horribly destroyed and ruined this game! The girls look gorgeous. Mr. Nomura please change it to something respectable and have mercy on that character please!
Awkward design, movements, poses, attacks. Afro Thunder looks a million times better.

I know this comment will be hated on and I'll be dubbed "that guy" but Jesus, this looks worse than FFX-2... Lets hope they make me think differently with a demo or s0omething... not holding my breath there though.
