Ratchet & Clank crack two demos this time around

The troubled sleepers of Insomniac Games want to make sure you play the upcoming Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time. The developers announced during their latest Full Moon Show podcast that the upcoming time-bending platformer will receive not one -- but two -- downloadable demos before the game's release. It certainly makes sense, considering how drastically different the traditional Ratchet gameplay is from the more puzzle-oriented Clank sections of the game.

Both demos should hit the PlayStation Store before the game's upcoming late-October release date, giving players plenty of time to explore these free samplers.

Would it be a stretch to think that one of the demos is a multiplayer demo?

Yes. Mostly because the game has no multiplayer.

I'm glad you guys already forgot the rumor about the game having a multiplayer due to the box art image containing a phrase indicating it would. I also believe Joystiq had an article on it, but if you didn't then it's just one more thing it wasn't up to dat with.

It's good enough to have one demo, but two demoes is just awesome, in my opinion. It'll probably just make me want the game even MORE before it releases.

Considering there are 25 days until the release, they won't tell us when the demos will be released? We've got 3 more PSN Thursdays left before the release, and they can't narrow it down to one? Come on!

back in the PS2 days, this game contained 4 player split screen and online. what happen?

It was ONE game, "up your arsenal" as I recall, and it was specifically made for multiplayer versus combat. They've released like 4 R&C universe games since then with no Multiplayer, where have YOU been?
