I am definitely looking forward to this game. But I still think the name change was unnecessary. I am positive that with a flood of games with random fantasy-tinged names already on the market, "World Destruction" would have turned more heads than "Sands of Destruction".

I hope the preorder bonus, if there is one (and there probably will be, seeing as that's all the rage these days), includes a soundtrack. I adore Yasunori Mitsuda's music and would gladly even pay extra if a soundtrack CD were involved.

I don't see what was awkward regarding the question about the title change. Seems to be a pretty standard Q&A.

I might pick up Sands of Destruction somewhere down the line...7th Dragon would be a DAY ONE buy.

I still think the name change was a bad idea too. Frankly, I picked up the Japanese version of this game basically on the name alone. I think something as direct and unexpected and nearly shocking-sounding as "World Destruction" would have really made this game stand out in the English-speaking market.
