It's really difficult for us to write clever observations about any installments in Sony's "It Only Does Everything" ad campaign. For instance, the recent commercial for Uncharted 2 (posted after the jump) is already really funny -- trying to get a few cheap lulz at its expense would be a Herculean comedic task.
Regardless, we'll give it the ol' college try: Man, that guy's girlfriend sure is confused, isn't she? She thinks it's a movie! What a silly misconception. Oh, look, she's got popcorn! Man, don't you hate it when you eat popcorn and a piece of shell gets stuck in the back of your throat? That's the worst, isn't it? You're all like "Hacccckkkkk! Caahllllkkk!" And it just won't come out!
I think this one relates to myself much more than the rest, when I played GTA4 my wife would come home and say "babe are you going to play GTA today?" She is not big on gaming so my response was the same as the commercial, almost like a 'help, my wife doesn't notice its a game, she is only following the storyline'.
I think Sony really has a great thing going with the "It Only Does Everything" motto. Great marketing, this is what all the gamers have been asking for and Sony delivered.
i see a few like daamers, archigamer, and marverick saturn REALLY truly believe that THAT guy could get a girlfriend like that. C'mon guys its just a commercial. You have to face reality that he would never get a girl like that and neither would you. No not now, not in your life time, and not ever. Kavendono 14 was dead on accurate with his reply so just just chill and take a deep breathe.
