Witness the assassination of Emilio Barbario in Assassin's Creed 2

Nothing strikes us as more appropriate subject matter for a trailer of Assassin's Creed 2 than a slow and calculated assassination. The subject in question for this particular video is Venetian "titan of industry" Emilio Barbario, a man whose assassination has been planned by the Venetian Thieves Guild for many years. Let's be honest though -- you're just looking to watch Ezio leap precariously around Venice and stab a bunch of dudes. It's fine! So were we!

And he does just that. From chimneys, from ledges, from rooftops and flower baskets -- the man knows how to drop fools in style. Peep the walkthrough above and marvel in the frustration that you won't be able to touch the game until November 17.

the game looks beautiful. just like AC1, i bet i'll spend a lot of time scaling tall buildings and just look around, taking in as much of virtual italy as i can.

I know, it looks amazing. FINALLY the cities have some great depth that add to the environment of the game. Really excited to try this one out.

I just hope the game doesnt constantly pop up BS tutorial information over and over and over again during game play. I found it really invasive in the original game.

The hopping around reminds me of Infamous, which is a good thing. I never played the first one but this one looks good enough for my money.

On another note, the pop ups in the video that take up a 3rd of the screen are very annoying when they pop up again and again.

I enjoyed the first one quite a bit, but I had to force myself to play through the second half of the original.

What I'm hoping is that it fixes that... along with other things.
I actually just started playing the original for the first time a few weeks ago, and I too am having a hard time getting through the last half. The monotony is getting to me.

I loved the first game and I am really looking forward to the second installment. I'm a man of simple tastes. If you give me a game where I can pull/throw people off of cliffs and rooftops, I'll be a fan for years.

Perhaps next time you can replace "first" with "I have no life but to press F5 on a bunch of different IE tabs in the hopes to get the CLAIM TO FAME! on a new thread by being an obnoxious douchebag and posting a comment that says 'first'".

EVERYONE will lie. im 23 and even i "lie" to get to watch the video quicker. ugh but atleast theyre courteous enough to put the ads at the end of the video.
