For those who've had trouble hearing the Call of Juarez over the much louder Call of Saving Money, we've got some good news: GameStop has lowered the price of the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC versions of Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood to a paltry $30. For those keeping score, that's $20 off the PC version and a full $30 shot off the PS3 and 360 versions. Not bad for a game hailed by critics as a "gritty, completely entertaining experience."
[Thanks, CJ]

Ugh... I really want to check this game out... but even at $30 I can't. The small amount of cash I do have is tied up in a select fee games this year :/

I can attest to Rocky's statement. It is definitely a fantastic game. I was personally happy paying $60 for it new. So $30 is something you can't pass up. But it's not like I can blame you for wanting to save your money for some of the great games coming out soon.

play the demo and realize the game has very little to offer, and then save your money by not purchasing it.

You got the 1st game from GoGamer event for a buck, I did too, too be completely honest the game doesn't hold up very well with it only being 2 years old. The character models and animations are very harsh. On the other hand, the sequel which this price drop is, is absolutely awesome.

It's quite ironic: it's cheaper for me to buy an American copy of this game and have it shipped over to Australia than it is to actually buy it here...
I've been meaning to pick this up recently but haven't had the time. If Australia got some nice price drops (it varies from retailer to retailer but in general I'm not going to get this game for $34 (Australian) anywhere) I'd pick it up in a jiffy.

I've heard the ps3 is now moddable, but considering i don't have a blu-ray burner, and even less time to screw with this stuff, I'm not even going to bother.
Besides, I don't feel like being a scrub anymore, as long as I'm gainfully employed.

The game is GREAT.
I'm not sure if they fixed the MP yet though...some of the worst lag I've seen in a game, making it almost unplayable on my end (even worse than MGO or COD).

I paid full price for this a week and a half ago, it's a decent game and the multiplayer is fun, only problem is lack of people playing it so it's hard to find ranked games. I was hoping it would drop in price so that more people pick it up and play multi.

I REALLY want to ride a horse through the awesome landscapes in this game, but I'm so broke as a joke right now it's not even funny. I pre-ordered Uncharted 2, but I can't even find scraps of cash for the damn game. Fuck, I think it's time to sell some things QUICK :(

I can't help but feel like this is one of those games that leads up to something better in the near future.
I bought Godfather II but I feel like I would have rather held off for Mafia II. Then there's Call of Juarez, and the only thing that kept me from picking it up was knowing that Red Dead Redemption was coming out in the next few months.
I know these games have their own strengths and weaknesses, but with the saturation of high end games on the market, I have to be picky with my choices. Is this game still worth it?

I just bought it at Amazon for $29.99. Using some trade-in credit I basically got it for free with free shipping. woo!

I just finished this game last night. Voice acting was knida corny; character animations were not the best, but the story was so good and the environments were so unique and extremely well done that it ranks among my all time favorites. Definitely worth the $30.
