Is your brain plagued by the infinitely catchy songs in LittleBigPlanet? Do you frequently annoy your friends with your incessant humming of The Go! Team's unofficial LBP theme song? Oh, did we just re-stick in your head? Sorry, we should've thought that out before we laid it on you like that.
Maybe all you need to do is add a bit of variation to your LBP soundtrack -- an option which will be made available this Thursday with the release of the "Mm Music Pack 1." The DLC pack will add three original, interactive tracks to the game: "Wise Owl," an ambient electronica song, "Well Trained," a blues-inspired ditty, and "Tea By the Sea," which is undefinable, yet funky. Get a preview of these three tracks in the video after the jump, then decide if they're worth the $2.99 price tag.
[Thanks, Chris!]

Well, hey, it's good to know that you're so proud of never giving credit where credit is due.
Supporting your favorite musical artist with your hard-earned money? That shit is for pussies.
God bless America.

Not saying I never unscrupulously acquire music, but...period? Ever? Not even your favorite bands/artists? Or maybe is it just because you're deaf?

When they said they were going to offer a continuos stream of DLC for LBP I thought it would be a great assortment of things like the MGS pack, not this unvaried drivel crap of stickers, music, and costumes.
It was a great game but jesus christ Im sick of this bs.

This is really awesome, I love LBP and they continue to support it via dlc and free content. With the new water pack coming soon, LBP is long from being dead.

What the family! None of them seem to have the charm of the originals

It sounds like a nice idea, but none of the tracks really impressed me as much as I'd hoped they would. They're definitely not as powerful as the aforementioned "Get It Together," but that's a pretty high standard.

I would rather be able to play my own music in-game not to say the LBP music isn't pretty cool though. Even better I should be able to put my own music my own levels, then again some songs are terrible in more ways than one.

they sound good, and being fully interactive means we can tweak them like all other musics by Mat Clark? If so, that's amazing!

Curious... if you build a level using this music as the background and I DON'T have that DLC, what do I hear instead?

I'm just guessing at this, but you'll probably still hear the new music. All the LBP downloads I've gotten have been very small in file size so I can't imagine you're actually downloading the content so much as downloading codes to access the content. Besides, it's possible to play the MGS levels with a friend even if you don't own them yourself. I'd imagine it'll be much the same with new music.

You will hear the music but you wont be able to use it on your own level.
Mm has been saying this all along, its like the MGS pack, you can use the paintinator in someones level even if you don't have the pack, when you download the DLC its just an unlock for the stuff that was included in an update.

What I'D like to be able to do is take my OWN musical creations and upload them to my levels.

Tea by the sea has sort of a Big Band sound, but I hear other elements in it
A little Benny Goodman mixed with Cab Calloway ... not bad at all.
