hahaha! everytime she ask's him if the price cut is what they have to motivate people he seems to put on an angry face! but yeah i do wish Ninty would do more then just a price cut. example:
1) better releases for VC/WiiWare
2) better game's and not so many crappy kiddie game's. seriously i know that 2010 is looking better for the Wii (i've been one to point that out MANY time's) but while other console get about 2-3 awesome game's a month we get about 1-2 awesome game's every....what....3-4 months?
3) better online and removal of that crappy friend code system (although i think i've heard some people say that it would be impossible for the Wii's online to get better this GEN due to the Wii's net code i think is what they said).

It's not impossible, per se, but Nintendo would have a few rather difficult choices to make, because Wii games are unpatchable (and there would be a helluva lot of patches to issue anyway), they would either:
A: Continue supporting WiFi Connection, Wii Connect 24, and the new, friend-code free network simultaneously
B: Dump WiFi Connection and Wii Connect 24, and leave every single game that uses either (or both), out in the cold.
With the fix they're in, it would be best for them to just wait it out a couple years and launch the new hardware with a new network, and slowly phase out WiFi Connection-based games.
The key is that WiFi Connection identifies each unique user solely by their friend code, that's how WFC perceives it's users. To remove friend codes would be to fundamentally re-work the system, and at that point you might as well just tear it all down and do it again, which would be a big clusterfuck mid-generation.

Reggie has to be my favorite industry guy. I'm not Nintendo or anything but this guy has to be one of the most untrustworthy guys I've come across. He does this with a straight face and even looks happy about it! He can spin anything he wants and turns out cool/true, etc. Best of all, he kicks journalists ass in all the Wii games. The best part about Nintendo conference was when he beat that one guy in basketball and the Gametrailers guy shortly after that. I don't think I've seen him lose yet.
