PSA: PSN is down for maintenance [update]

Oh hey, were you about to jump on the PlayStation Network for a quick round of gaming on your lunch break? Actually, we can answer that for you: you weren't, even if you thought you were, because PSN is currently unavailable.

Trying to log in brings up the message "Site Maintenance Notice: The server is currently down for maintenance. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please try again later." We'll do our best to find out when a good time to try again will be, but in the meantime you're on your own. Perhaps you could get some laundry done, or find a new sandwich recipe.

Update: A Sony rep tells us that "this maintenance should be completed by 1pm Pacific."

Dang and I wanted to play MAG. anyone know if they will extend the MAG server when it finally comes online?

Of course it had to go down just before my download finished. :(

i was playing MGS4 online successfully but cant aceess store

yeah i cant access the store, it was saying not available in my country/region. i was about to buy PJ Monsters Deluxe too.

It was telling me that as well!

i Tried all 5 stores and their all down for me.

It won't be coming out till tomorrow.. and the guy at EB said they're are only like 1000 copies across Canada... I never heard anything like that. Is the game suppose to be a rare find or is this just another case of EB Douchebaggery?

it said to me the store in mot avalable to my country/regeon. i was angry as hell. is a live in lceland and use a UK account to go on the store and i thought the were now cheking IP,s. so w was fureus as hell and tought i would never get back on the store
