Eliza Dushku interested in live-action Wet

While the idea of getting wet at the movies doesn't sound all that great (wet clothes and air conditioning don't mix, people!), the prospect of a Wet movie is certainly something we can get behind. That's just what voice of Rubi Malone Eliza Dushku proposed during an interview with MTV, stating that the game "maybe could turn into a live-action Dushku vehicle."

Of course, it's best to keep in mind that there aren't any actual plans yet; Dushku isn't confirming things are in motion to make a live-action Wet film a reality, rather she wouldn't mind playing Rubi Malone in the film if it ever happens. We wouldn't mind it, either -- it'd give her a chance to make up for her underwhelming performance in the game.

From watching Dollhouse, I now realize that creative wardrobe work was responsible for hiding the fact that she is shaped much like a 2x12.

Oh come on, they knowingly named the game “wet” with a sexy female protagonist doing acrobatic maneuvers all over the game. I see that they did there. They might as well have named it “moist”.

I knew I wasn't the only one who's watched the scene from Alphabet Killer in slow-mo several times over...

I usually prefer the:

"She can live action my wet movie"

or

"She can Eliza my Dushku, ifyaknowwhatimeaaaaannn"

She about 13 or 14 in True Lies? I liked her in Buffy, that's the first time I spotted her.. she's looking old now though.. then she's only a year older than me..

Michael Davis (writer and director of Shoot 'Em Up) could do a decent job.

Michael Bay can blow shit up in the background behind her, and this would make millions.

He can also just dump a shitload of water on Dushku, and this would make millions.

The story would probably do better in a Movie than as a game...

I always liked her, especially when she was on Buffy. Not your typical Hollywood blonde bimbo you see nowadays.

Personally, I think Tina Fey would make a better lead for a Wet movie. ;p

Still not finished with the game but so far the cut scenes are pretty cool. What really makes the game work is the music though, otherwise it would just feel like I am playing a game based on a knockoff Tarantino film. Take away the game and that is exactly what you have, a knockoff Tarantino film. Would that be a good thing? I don't know you be the judge.

You're not the only one, I liked Rubi a lot, didn't find many faults in her, not even voice wise.

I don't think they look really similar, but I think I'd rather see Dushku play her, because I think she could do a good job.

You mean she's just interested in making more money. Her Agents all dried up and can't find anything for her to do. So even though Wet had horrible reviews, she wants to do a movie based on a game, which never really pull in money at the Box Office. Sounds like desperation and a bad idea to me.

Yep, unfortunately true. Since Buffy wrapped up she hasn't really done much work worth mentioning (you can argue for or against Dollhouse) and I'm guessing she's feeling the pinch, career-wise. Those kinds of dry spells can lead to some direct-to-DVD shlock, and Wet certainly fits the bill there.

I like watching movies where girls get wet.

They are usually pornos though.

why do people keep making "eliza dushku vehicles" of any sort? who wants her to be famous? this is some majestic level clandestine shit. i do not understand. maybe she has to be really famous for the apocalypse to happen or something.

i think the best way to express my opinion on this is to quote her terrible performance in the game, which is to say "MWWAAAAAAHH"

Actually, I'd say it's more or less the fault of the game director's. Since it's never really the voice actor/actress's fault (I've spoken with enough of them to have them say this).

C'mon, her line "Way to use your head!" when you get a headshot is pretty clever.
