PSN Thursday: Vomit up $7 for Critter Crunch, support the disgustingly adorable

There are many, many titles on the PSN that have amazing art atop a relatively simple gameplay concept. Capybara's Critter Crunch is no exception. However, we'd advocate it may deserve a purchase for its premise alone: Adorable fuzzball eats cutesy creatures and then vomits them up in a rainbow into another even-more-darling puff's mouth. Critter Crunch is magic stuff indeed!

HOWEVER

If I were a PSP Go owner, I'd be pretty peeved that I only got two game options this week, and both are pricey.

If Critter Crunch was playable on my PSP I'd be happy. As it stands...this week was a huge disappointment. I didn't buy a Go but I was hoping it would make PSN update actually worthwhile for PSP owners.

I've got a GO and I'm still catching up on content from last week (Gran Turismo, Beatarator & Motorstorm) so it's not like there isn't anything to choose from. The legacy titles will matriculate themselves in slowly but surely.

As a PS3 Owner I'm pretty damned upset that the Outer Space DLC for Burn Zombie Burn STILL hasn't been released. Get on it Double 6! )You get that Ollie? Maybe they just wanted to push the Southpark Tower Defense game out the door before they finished up the BZB Patch & DLC but it's been quite the damn wait. Speaking of South Park Tower Defense ... anyone know it's exclusivity status? D6 care to comment? How about giving us Playstation guys some of the licensed south park love!

While we're (I'm) on the subject ... a PSP version of Burn Zombie Burn would be full of so much win I don't know how to describe it properly. I'll give it a shot: Tits - pure tits.

buy Critter Crunch or else...

On the contrary, this week is pretty awesome for the PS3 - Fallout xpacks and critter crunch. Awesome.

But what does suck really hard is the PSP updates - I was completely expecting a massive price cuts on the PSP digital downloads...but nope, the PSP Go will SUCK for another week atleast. Oh well, no loss for us, just Sony (although the prices for games are set by the game publishers, still their loss...a cheaper PSP Go would = more sales and sales of downloads) .

This post kind of sucks...

I kid. Critter Crunch looks great and with the FO3 DLC, this week is far from being bad. Then again, there ARE those among us that don't like/have FO3 or are interested in CC... that's cool. But then there's a part of that population that whine... that's not.

They released enough content for PSPGo last week to make up for not having any for the next month... lol. Where you been?

Well the PSP update this week is complete BS in terms of the content. I bought a GO because I liked the idea of all digital but if they won't update the catalogue then whats the point? I love the device but I'll give them another 2-3 weeks to prove that I should keep it. There are a shit fuck ton of PS3 games coming out this year and I've already got a 3000 ... the GO is only worth it if the content is there to justify it. Otherwise, I'll return it and just rock the 3000 and some new games. Solved. It's up to Sony not me ... I bought the damn thing now they need to give me content.

I'm a patient person but they have to prove that they can supply the digital content. Otherwise, why own a GO if there isn't any content?

So aside from this junk did anything good actually come out this week....?

Aside from pandemonium and Critter Crunch, not too happy for the week's releases, specifically for the PSP. I would have thought that after the launch of the PSPgo Sony would continue a stream of Legacy UMD releases or put out more PSOne titles. Even more week-long sales of what's already out there would be interesting for those new PSP owners. Here's hoping that next week is better than this one.

Why the lack of video game themed themes for psp? Why does Sony keep trying to sell generic wallpaper and icons? And the downloadable games need to pick up pace, I hate umds and want to start buying all digital!

DL'ed the bayaneta final climax demo from the jap store, it's amazing similer to Devil my cry but way more sexy.
