I say go to Best Buy and try the demo first. Wait for some reviews and if you can, rent it first. After all, you'd be gambling with $119.99. Is that a risk you'd want to take just for a $10 recovery?

I didn't think so.

Let me make this clear.

Not too long ago, the actual Bobby Kotick died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound shortly after getting banned from Joystiq. I, his bastard offspring, then took it upon myself to take his place on Joystiq and in the press. They need me there so I can be a dick to them, and you need me here so that you have somebody to make dick jokes about.

I don't think Peter Moore or Alton saw this.

Bobby Kotick: Death by suicide.
Tom Kalinske: Death by seppuku

You might want to change your names...

Bradwart -

STOP IT ALREADY! We know you are both Kottick & the Bill gates from a day or so ago. We know you are bored but it's not cute or funny. So quit it already.

No you don't ... I assumed it was under different accounts. Sorry if it seemed like an accusatory post. It's gotten out of control lately with that CEO character stuff. I apologize if I unjustly criticized you. It just seemed strange we had like 3 of them in a matter of a week or so all communicating with each other on a regular basis. Even though I've got the Short Circuit thing going on it's not in character. I'm just that obsessed with the OG Wall-E.

Yes, I was Thomas J. Kalinske III. But that was all.

And, Bobby?

You made me laugh. +1.

most of them are pretty good. i would probably stick with either best buy (daft punk level FTW) or walmart (that $10 would probably get you more than 2 playable songs).

but, unfortunately, pre-order bonuses don't matter for me since i'm gonna wait for the price to go down.

I'd say the best pre-order bonus is skipping this title and keeping the money in your wallet...but that's just me.

Wal-mart or Amazon if I intended on buying the game. Speaking of which I got to try it at my local Best Buy and it's pretty shitty to be honest. The turntable wasn't big enough imo and the little buttons were to close together and it was hard to scratch effectively. All in all I hated the damn thing and can't see why anyone would want to pick it up. Oh ... they also had the "Band Hero" demo and I still don't understand what the damn difference is with that and GH Hero WT ... can someone fill me in on what the difference is supposed to be between the franchises?

Band Hero has more pop music and is geared towards younger folks, much like Lego Rock Band.

Band Hero certainly wasn't my idea. It didn't feel right being the follow-up to Metallica.

I personally tried to get Skin Flute Hero passed. Lord knows I could use that game...

It would also allow people to play other instruments without having separate peripherals for each of them. Then we could have a new Gorillaz pack with Rock the House (keyboard playing the horns part), 19-2000, and Dare. That would be the sickest track pack yet IMO.

actually, come to think of it, dare would pretty much only be good for the keyboard and the singer, but still.
