Secret Dark Void event going down this Monday, Oct. 12

Damn if only it was November 14 and if only I lived remotely near San Fran.

Now that all of us Joystiqers know, Is it still a secret?

There's a dark void in my schedule where I should be playing this game. Too bad I won't be because I live too. far. away.

I don't mind the event being held in SF and all, it being a major city of the US and all...

...what I do mind is that they have these things at fricken 5 p.m. in the evening. Short of skipping off work at around 330 p.m. and using comp time (and even if I did, it would look really bad) to make my way out there, it's a nuisance. Clearly, they place these things for SF residents mostly as opposed to much-maligned residents in the adjoining suburbia.

8 p.m.? 9 p.m.? Is that asking too much?
