The Wii doesn't even have Netflix or Twatter integration.

Pffftt...

And, somehow, it's sold over twenty million more units.

How is that, Billy?

Are you stalking me? Don't make me get my army of cyborg ninja's out on you. Sega makes games for ME now. How does that make you feel?

Sega makes games for everyone. Which makes them the most profit, dummy.

Chuck, that was hilarious. But I can't confirm or deny whether I was there...

THIS IS A POST ABOUT SMASH BROTHER.

Don't derail a thread just so you can try (and fail) at being a funny guy. It doesn't work, trust me, I should know.

If Smash Bros had Halo style matchmaking with voice chat, I would be still rocking that game. But sadly, that will probably never happen.

I actually would have bet the house at the time that the Eggplant Wizard would have made the cut as an Assist Trophy. I would have loved for him to pop out and turn random players into eggplants, Kid Icarus-style. I would have thrown my controller in anger/delight.

Kotaku's monthly monitoring? Doesn't the Wii have some tracking of gameplay by people who elect to contribute? Hard to take Kotaku too seriously, in my opinion.

I can't do Brawl anymore :( don't live near any of my old smash buddies any longer, and I'm not really interested in 1P Brawl...

Ah, I hear your cluckin' big chicken. It's Kotaku reporting upon the info Nintendo provides, not some half-assed Kotaku self-done analysis. Didn't look into it deep enough, oops :P

Welllll, I mostly agree. I really dug the challenges/events in Melee doing 1P only a lot, but just couldn't get as into it in Brawl.

I can believe I'm saying this, but I thought Super Smash Bros was more fun than Uncharted. Uncharted was better, but SSBB was more FUN. It's just so fun playing again your friends and kicking their asses with Toon Link.

I love this game to death, but I can't enjoy Wi-Fi on Brawl at all. It always lags, and the lag completely kills the competitive aspect to Brawl. The game plays slower and the button commands never register. And that's with a good connection.

All I have to say is

I hope they keep snake for the next SSB.

I completely sucked at SSB until brawl . Snake was the motivation I needed to get good at the game. But he's the only character i'm good with.

When me and my friends play they know My character select token will not move the entire time.

Sure, but looking at it that way makes me think there's no longer a reason to own a wii, because once you've played those games you don't have much more coming your way.

Don't get me wrong, I love those games, and No More Heroes was just plain awesome, but I've gotten a lot more playtime out of my 360, and there's always a lot more grade A content coming to both the 360 and the PS3, it just makes me feel ripped off for getting a wii.

I agree, Nintendo does have good core games, but doesn't release many. We usually have 2 Zelda games, 2 Mario games (not including spin-off titles), a Metroid game, and a few good 3rd party games every Nintendo system. Nintendo needs to release MORE core titles instead of crappy shovelware. The only thing not keeping me from selling my Wii is Virtual Console.

I love this game, but I only play it when I have buddies over. It's unfortunate that Nintendo can't easily do patches on their games, 'cause if they could just get the Mario Kart Wii matchmaking system integrated into Brawl somehow, it would be usable. Otherwise, it takes me (literally) 5+ minutes to match up with someone to play with, so I end up just playing against the computer. With Kart, I can hook up with 10+ other people in seconds.

Glad to see it's still getting play time!

Aren't all the matchmaking games just 2 minute KO fests?

Thats funny because today me and my brother were talking and hes 18, im 19 and in CoD4 we have weeks worth of game play and we were saying how that doesnt even come close to the hours we have put into Smash. Me him and my 17 year old brother have been playing Smash since 64 and still enjoy a good game on the week ends or when ever we get together. Its simply the most fun you can have with a group of friends
