The Xbox 360's Games on Demand service is getting quite the booster shot this month, as Microsoft has announced six new titles coming to the service in October. The festivities kicked off earlier this week with the release of Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and Call of Duty 3. Here's what the rest of this month has in store:
October 13
October 20
October 27
There's no word on price for any of these titles right now, so we've checked with Microsoft and will be sure to update you when we hear back.

I think the major hurdle there is file size and download waits.
It takes me a few hours to download 1.5-2gb of data from a dedicated server at my full connection. Now, for a game that is 8gb... by the time I finish downloading it I could have just gone to the store and picked up a copy.
Though I guess it does benefit people who don't live close to a video store or don't have a means to get to one.

But, you don't have to take it back to the store when you're done. You're only including half of your trip.

I agree with you 100% for myself, but it seems as though the majority of people in brick and mortar retail stores are buying 'older' games.
I can't tell you how many times I'm at a gamestop buying a game on it's release date, while three people (usually with kids) are there to buy a NEW copy of some game that came out months--or even years--ago.
