And only 85? Very reasonable. Now you can fool people into thinking you bought a Go, and have a crappy MP3 player!

I saw a fake 360 once saying it had 20gb capacity, but it was really more like 12. Oh wait, that's MY 360 =p

*I'm no PS3 fanboy, this is just a self-deprecating dig at myself*

Why do I never see things like this in the US?

They're here, just not very prevalent. We usually don't let guys set up a table on the street where you typically find this stuff.

Ooooh, Back-Alley Bargains. I see.

Actually, I've seen some stuff similar to iPods (And obvious fakes) sold at a convenience store near my college campus. I'm wondering if it's because Texas is close to Mexico...hm...

wait are they also secretly telling us how much the pspGO could really cost ?

they must make money off the $ 85.00 price tag already....

ok ok it may not have precious, expensive metals inside or that shiny black case, but a point is to be made here, but im not going to go there today, because we all know that that the GO is _____________________.

Hell, this time we Chinese arguably give the world a superior product, compared to the so called capitalist "original" ;)

Look, it plays NES, Gameboy, Genesis, SNES; it takes SD cards; it has Chinese-Americanish dictionary which is essential for your survival in the coming Chinese Overlords age*, it's even named MP5, how awesome it is? Can you top that at the price of $80**? Cut us some slack please...

* According to current media mind-set.
** If you don't need the knock off casing, there are even cheaper models

Thought I do wish they had a better taste in choosing English fonts.

I believe MP5 is a video codec and aside from that, it can play many other codecs unlike the original PSP.

This is actually a good knockoff and I also comtemplate purchasing this.

Joking aside, I would recommend you to see it in person before purchasing, cos knock offs' screen usually are not of great quality*. It do varies from product to product.

*But no PSP3000's horrible scanlines!

Why the hell do you people feel the need to do this with absolutely anything and everything? Videogames, cars, buildings, amusement parks. Or stuff like character designs. And then in some cases even fiercely deny anything is wrong. It baffles me. It gives off the impression of a people that lack any ideas of their own. People without a soul, so to speak. Are you really so creatively bankrupt? Or are you just lazy?

We actually do build lots and lots things of our design, but they don't got your media's coverage - why would they report a generic Chinese media player that has no brand in western world? As of now China is the factory of the world, so we build absolutely everything, knock-offs included. So what? You think it's possible to prosecute the manufactors? China of this era is a land where raw capitalism ran rampant, when there is profit to be made there is no stopping them. That's not incompatible with creativity, since China's productivity is infinite, there are always other people trying out new things, and there are people who were content with knock offs. To each his own.

And does that harm the original product in anyway? I doubt so, they are clearly aimed at different crowds. To others they provide a cheap laugh.

If it doesn't break apart in your hands the minute you touch it, this actually doesn't sound that bad.

And it already has a hell of a lot more content than the PSPgo.

Come on Sony. Quit playing with your dicks and get to work. We want more PSN content.

From my own experience, surprisingly such kind of electronics as a whole can withstand considerable punishment; but individual components tend to go faulty first, loose buttons ,skewed screen, the like.

This 4GB PXP thing doesn't even have the 4GB despite the title.

4.3" 4GB Slide Panel Retro Gamer / Game Mp5 Player w/ Camera, Mp4 - PXP-2000

... scroll down ...

PXP-2000 Specifications:
# MP4 Specifications
# Memory: 2GB (holds 500 songs, or Countless Games)
# External Memory: SD Card (4GB Max)

So, it only has 2GB. 4GB is the size of an extra SD card that you can buy on your own.

How funny would it be if it had a UMD drive and a second analog stick. Anywho...

"Memory: 2GB (holds 500 songs, or Countless Games) "
"hold 1000+ songs or countless music videos."

Why do they have trouble counting things? I thought Asians were good at math =)

It seems like knock offs are so easy because most of the time products are manufactured in China anyways. All the manufacturer has to do is sell the schematics to another company, change some functionality, and replace the logo.

Y'know, I could buy this, for what looks to be a very decent-price--relatively speaking--and have no more need to use my PSP for emulation needs, provided that this thing can run Genesis and SNES games without any kind of problems or loops holes.

Hey, then I too could become a self-righteous preacher, droning selective-biased rants about how custom firmware and piracy are mutually exclusive concepts. Heh.

I like this knock-off… it’s cool. Go China!
