I'd rather Valve did this to Australian Left4Dead 2 rather then simply removing gore. That would be almost as good while at the same time being a big fuck you to the OFLC.

Really doesn't look like they did anything other then upgrade the graphics.

On the XBox version the Gore setting had 'Hippie Mode' which spurt out a bunch of flowers if I recall correctly...
All I care about though is that they keep the same music from the XBox version (not sure if it's the same music from the PC). I still feel damn heroic when that music is blaring and all hell is breaking loose around me. My favorite is the Jingle Bells song from episode 2. I was grinning ear to ear listening to that.

It's nice to see that some games still have a sense of humour, even if it is just an update of an old game. The REALISM IS GOD crowd far outweigh fun developers nowadays and it's getting pretty boring. This and the darkest of days trailer are the only trailers that made me actually want to buy the game in recent memory.
