Oh man, I played darius twin on the SNES for years when i was younger. I'm glad to see a revival. I hope it's a little less hard to beat now though. over about 4 years I never once beat darius twin. Only snes game i never beat (that I owned). ahh, the nostalgia. Stupid fish shaped alien ships.

This looks quite exciting. I'll have something new to tide me over for the next thing since Wii's Ultimate Shooting Collection. :D

I like some of the Darius games, but I don't think I've ever played a bad one - usually if they're not great they're still playable, but just bland. Oh, and that tune is tasty.

Interesting tidbit from the main page: the download version of the game will be 4000 yen, compared to the 5040 yen for the UMD release (but 4284 yen at Amazon.co.jp). Also, the site notes that you can counter an enemy Burst attack with a well-timed Burst Counter, which sounds pretty much like a return of the beam dueling from G-Darius.
