I'll keep them for the nerd cred, and then when we're out of fossil fuels, I'll burn them for heat.

I'd be damn crazy If I didn't keep it. Back when I was younger, I'd save up my lunch money to buy DC games. I'd never dispose of my DC collection.

I'll just continue to play my physical media even when the future is here :P
I still play my nes, snes, gensis games even though I could go digital on them... It's just so much more satisfying to have to blow in the game over and over until it works and finally get it to work then just have it work :P

I'm going to keep them in brown, cardboard boxes for easy storage. I will open those boxes up occasionally say 'oh yeah, that was awesome' then close never to be seen again.

I plan to take my physical media and make a collection of fine hats of them. I will strut about town wearing my fine physical media hats and nothing else, extolling the virtues of my new "digitally downloaded" clothes while also pointing out the vintage quality of my hats.

IT SHALL BE A BRAVE NEW WORLD!

Physical media may take up room in my house, however I think it's nice to keep around as more of a collectors reasoning. It is nice to pick up the case and look at some classic games every once in a while.
