EA Russia lists Mass Effect 2 for PS3 [update]

Retail listing can and do change right at the last minute (the day a title is supposed to come out some times).

Often Publishers list games they aren't even aware of when or if they'll ever release.

Except the original Mass Effect.................

You statement shows you have never had anything to do with, or never paid any attention to retail operations. Let me help explain it for you

There have been a number of coded messages that suggest the possibility exists that it may come to the PS3.

Combine those with todays "accidental" listing on the EA website and you have a lot of circumstantial evidence. It just seems strange that EA hasn't come out and flatly denied that this game is a 360 exclusive through and through. From the looks of the situation one might determine that the game has a timed exclusivity window and the PS3 version can't be formally announced until after a certain date much like the Fallout 3 DLC. It's possible and either EA is messing with the heads of PS3 owners or has dropped the ball on ME2's exclusivity.

I'm reading through the comments and it seems to me you have some sort of a vested interest in this game staying exclusive. You've responded to damn near every comment and are trying to play down the possibility. You are also defending the warranty of the 360 ... what gives? Why does it matter to you if it comes to the PS3? Why are you so adamant about saying it's not possible? Look at all the previous statements and preponderance of evidence that suggest at the very least a PS3 port is possible and maybe even likely.

I have to agree why can't a company not come right out and say Sorry but it's not coming to PS3 then too say " We Don't Comment On Rumors " with the Smiley face at the end ! seems suspecious if you ask me unless the Smiley face was just put their to be put their and for us not to take it as a smirk or a grin. i think this will be like a Bioshock a year later we will get it .. but months after release they will announce it for PS3.

tho if it is indeed coming .. i wanna play from the beginning not in the middle, i have a 360 but i can't even go back to playing the system i tried and it doesn't feel right. if ME2 does indeed come then hopefully the 1st one comes along as well it's only " right " that way those new can get it and go on from their to the 2nd one.
