Worried that the game might only be for kidz? Activision's David Oxford claims the game was designed for all ages, saying, "With the whole family competing against each other as their favorite zoosters, you have never seen action this wild." So much for hilarious wordplay being Activision's real secret weapon that keeps it ahead of the competition. :/

Why didn't they just name it with a synonym for "Madagascar":

Maybe it is because I own Madagaskartz.com that they decided not to use it.

Holy shit, really?
It's not wild enough to see a Hippo? Now it has to be crammed into a fucking kart(z) to have the "wild" impact?
And I thought cart games were reserved for overly publicized licenses. Where are the CoD and GH Kart games?

Activision is probably legally bound to use "Madagascar" branding as a whole without the specific rights to manipulate the branding as Activision sees fit i.e. "MadagascarTZ".

So this is why almost every game was pushed till 2010. No one can compete with a game an entire family can play.
Good luck Modern Warfare 2.

I haven't seen any of the movies, but boy how I long for a Kart game on current-gen systems. And no, the Wii isn't a current gen system.
So bring on the Madagas-fuckin-karts!

Whew, thank goodness they put this game out while Madagascar was still on everyone's mind. It would be a shame if they waited until the movies faded and only the TV show nobody watches is left.
