Just put in a few hours of U2 - I've been following this game for a long time, read all the reviews and watched all the vids - and I am still absolutely stunned by the quality of this game. The character models and animation (especially the faces) are simply peerless. The story and acting are totally engaging and the gameplay is so much smoother than the first. Even the somewhat maligned stealth section in the the beginning was no problem for and SC or BAA vet.

Have to go to sleep but it was hard to turn off.

As for Chloe - I'd hit that.

I can't wait for uncharted 2! It looks to be like a great gaming experience. I have to work all day and overnight on Tuesday so I won't be able to open it and play it to Wednesday.... Tuesday is gonna be a really really long night :/

yep. if there's any one game that can tear me away from Demon's Souls at the moment it's Uncharted 2. and i couldn't even say that about MW2 because Demon's Souls is that friggin good!

Anyone else have their Amazon-purchased Uncharted show up already? Ijust got a DELIVERY confirmation notice (not just a shipment notice), unfortunately I'm in the hospital and I won't be off call until 7 pm to check for myself. This happen to anyone else?

mdock if you chose 2 day shipping they update it to release day delivery free of charge....but if you chose that "Free super saver shipping" then they will still ship it out either tomorrow or later this week.

I have a Prime Membership and they were shipping it out today to be delivered tomorrow but I canceled yesterday

No confirmation for me yet. Regardless it sucks that video game releases are on Tuesday... mostly because I'm off today and I have nothing I want to play. I finally started (and finished) MGS4, Demon's Souls is sold out everywhere locally and Uncharted 2 won't arrive until tomorrow.

Woe is me. :(

GAMEFLY!!!! They sent out Uncharted 2 This Morning, I suppose I will get Brutal Legend sent out tomorrow...

I get the Game for $44.99 then on TOP of that I have a $5 coupon that I can use that doesn't Expire until the 29th, and I get ANOTHER $5 coupon on the 21st!!! So I can get Uncharted 2 for the GRAND TOTAL of $34.99 Plus tax!! I had pre-ordered @ Amazon for the treasure map but getting the game for as cheap as I am I can give up that Map.

I feel your pain... I have four midterms next wednesday and classes all tuesday, so Im quite strapped for time on U2 as well :(

Man I've got 1 midterm on wednesday and 2 on thursday. So I'm not gonna be playing Uncharted 2 until Friday I think.

But 4 midterms on one day? That's brutal....

Getting Uncharted 2, Brutal Legend, and NBA 2k10 as my free game for the toys r us buy 2 get 1 free deal. Then, finding some way to swap nba for demon's souls, but demon's souls is turning out be as hard to find as Atlantis. They weren't kidding when they said it's old school, it's even as hard to find as games were 15 years ago!

Most likely store credit, and I'm not even really sure if it's legal or not.

That would bother my conscience if that wasn't the only way I can presently get Demon's Souls.

Yeah you should definitely get Demon's Souls. It's a challenging game, but it's just so good. It's one of the best PS3 games out right now.

I want it, but here's the deal. I don't have extra cash available, so I have to use some form of store credit from the free game at toys r us.

It doesn't help that it's out of stock at walmart.com, and isn't available at any wal mart store.

Toys R Us doesn't sell it online or in store, and Target only sells it online. I was told my local Best Buy doesn't stock it in store either, and even Gamestop didn't have it (I believe they sold their 2 or so copies).

So you can see how frustrated I am trying to get this damn game.

Ok, well there are some problems with your plan you really need to be aware of. First of all, you can not trade in the free game(NBA) for another game. So make sure your free game is the one that you want. Second of all, TRU does not carry Demon's Souls. If there's a Best Buy near your TRU, ask them if they can price match the TRU deal and if they have Demon's Souls in stock, you can get it as your free game without having to do the swap.

He can trade it in for store credit at another store without a receipt. I know for a fact Best Buy & Walmart accept unopened game returns without a reciept and give store credit.

I got lucky and found a copy (Demons Souls) at my local Best Buy ... The game is damn hard to find thats for sure.

Target does it too, which is what I'm doing. I dunno about Best Buy, but wal mart doesn't carry the game in store (neither does Target though), but it was out of stock online at walmart. I'm just going to use the gift card they give me and order it online at target, even though it said it'll take 2-4 weeks. At this point, I'll just be happy to get the damn thing.

i only had a small hint of regret of using supersaver shipping after reading playing the uncharted demo for a bit and seeing someone on my list playing the actual game. i've got demons soul and the demo to keep me occupied. might even give drakes fortune another spin.

I like to think of myself as a cool, calm, collective type of guy. Sure I like playing games just as much as the next guy but I'm not usually "oh my god I can't wait for (insert game)".

With that being said I think it's about time for an intervention of some sorts. Most people say that the first step to recovery is admitting that you in fact have a problem. So I must declare (slowly stands up) "that I am an Uncharted 2 fanboy"....

I now feel a whole lot better and after hours and hours single player and multi player the healing process can begin.
