Not true. Both of my copies, of F3 (original and GotY) are bilingual, as are most games released in Canada. Unfortunately it STILL does not recognize my save files from the original F3. The problem does not arise from the 'incompaibility' of bilingual games, as there is no incompatibility between them. It appears to be one of two possible issues. First could be an issue with file recognition, possibly because the Canadian version (a different print from the US because of the bilingual necessity) was not used in any of the testing and Bethesda didn't foresee any problems with the original unilingual version porting the save files. I wouldn't be surprised if a Canadian with an American copy of the original F3 has no problems with the GotY edition. The second possibility is our consoles themselves are likely different and just as with many games you cannot just copy the save file from one profile to another and use it, perhaps it works the same with games. The console reads for Fallout 3 GotY edition saves and finds none.

I also blame the FRENCH CANADIANS for this incompatibility mess...1 province ruins everything for Canada all the time....everything sold on the store shelves have to have both English and French labels. Quebec should have separated from Canada a LONG TIME AGO.

You're an idiot. If it's the "French Canadians" fault, then why isn't this an issue with the Xbox 360 version of Fallout 3?

This is just a small problem that Bethesda will undoubtly patch soon enough.

You would need the Korean release for them to be compatible
