No, no, in the game, silly! If you pre-order The Saboteur you get a knife in the game. Specifically, those who pre-order the game from GameStop will receive a code to unlock "an exclusive Nazi knife," which can be used for stealth kills. Frankly, we find it just a tad strange that a game about a stealthy underground agent doesn't give you a cool Nazi knife to begin with, but hey, metal was in shorter supply in the days of World War II.
Also, just as a reminder, it's not a real knife. We're pretty sure EA learned its lesson since the last time.

I'm with the others, if it was a real knife I'd buy the game whether it was shit or not.

And I'm glad your thirteenth birthday party got the shitty review *it* did. (Papa John's pizza? Really?)
Good luck next year!

Did you JUST say that Joystiq Favors the PS3 MORE than the 360 or Wii!?!
WTF are you on!??!? lol....thats a first
Most people say the reverse....I would say that they give the 360 more attention 2 years ago...but now its more so balanced...

Oh look, Sprinkles is back. Or his little brother.
Here's specifically why Uncharted 2 is so great - and a lesson in game design for you; a subject about which I've forgotten more than you'll ever know.
It's a vitrually perfect blend of control, pacing, level design, story, voice acting, sound design, musical score, and set piece moments. Is that specific enough for you? Those are the things that make up a great game (although not all great games require every element).
I've been into computers, programming and gaming since the very first home computers were around - pre Windows by the way. I remember playing a brand new arcade Space Invaders unit, had the first home gaming console and practically every one since then.
Having said that, I cannot believe that I am now seeing a piece of software of the quality of Uncharted 2, for all the reasons I mentioned above. And I haven't even dug into the multiplayer which is getting great reviews as well. The attention to detail in every aspect is absolutely stunning. Perfectly paced, unbelievably engaging story due to the best performances I've ever seen in a game, tight control, smooth pacing and variety the like of which I haven't encountered since Metroid Prime. Noticed I haven't mentioned the graphics yet? Ok, let's go there. I've generally regarded Gears 1&2 as the benchmark for graphics in home console games - even today the first Gears holds up as a great looking game. And Uncharted 2 blows it away visually. I cannot believe ND made a game look this good - and the closer things get the better they look which is usually the opposite case.
It's quite simply one of the greatest games I've ever played. It's not perfect - no game is - the AI needs some work in close quarters and well, that's about it. How can anyone call themselves a games and be pathologically tied to one system? All I've ever wanted from the hobby is to play awesome games and one of the best adventure games of all time is on Sony's console. If you're going to dismiss it because of some wierd personal obession then it's your loss. Get help.

So this knife is already in the game, but you have to pre-order it in order to not miss out on using it?

I hate this pre-order in-game bonus trend so very much. I'm definitely buying The Saboteur this December. The game has great looks and great personality, which are 2 things that are severely missing from WWII games these days.
Do I care about this "special" pre-order knife, though? Nah, probably not. I'll make do with what I have in the game already.

I'll answer your questions about what uncharted 2...
it's more fun
it's more action packed
It adds stealth kills, that are better than MGS
you can carry a shield
you can hang from ledges and shoot and throw grenades, I'm not sure if you could do that in the first one
the acting and writing better than a lot of movies and ALL other video games
It has the best MP since CoD4. (It's basically Gears 1 with platforming elements) also keep in mind the first one had no multiplayer, so that new
it has co op, that's new
it's a complete package.
all packaged into the most beautiful game to date with absolutely no loading times.
If I end up playing the MP as much as I think I will, I'd say this is the best game I've ever played

You could always hang and shoot from ledges in the first game. There was even a trophy for it. The grenade mechanics are sooo much better in U2 though. Lobbing and throwing grenades feels much better. Especially from cover.

The best thing about this in-game knife, is that you won't really be able to see it. This is one of the lamest preorder incentives I have seen. The game looks cool, but who is going to get excited about a new knife skin?

Pandemic lost me as a customer for life after I wasted $60 on Mercs 2. They have no commitment to quality and will release completely broken trash. It's one thing to preorder a game and it turns out to be mediocre, but Mercs 2 was so horrible I just felt robbed.
