Rockstar drops details of new multiplayer in GTA: The Ballad of Gay Tony

Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch will see lots of new weapons, of course, but also new Kill Streaks and Assisted Kills, which provide cash bonuses. Free Mode gets a little freer with the addition of Buzzard helicopters, APCs, and, of course, parachutes. We can't wait to see what kind of ridiculous emergent competition comes from parachute-based combat.

I wonder if the prison bus and the other new helicopter will be in freemode is it the swift its called? not the one that lifts the cars the other real new heli

i'm telling you, aside from the story Rockstar is selling you cheats that should have come in the game. Why was it stripped along with everything else.

Heh...for real. It looks like they are kind of taking a page from the Sims profit model book here. Release a game once every several years, and release systematic content expansions for $XX.XX that could have easily came with the game itself, that are almost must buys based on the added functionality and expansiveness included.
That being said, I can't wait for the new Hot Tub that comes out next expansion. I'm going to Woo-Hoo option in that bad boy all night.

Except not really since you're getting an entirely new story. Stop trying to find things to whine about. I mean do you get this pissy when a game gives you a option to dl a map pack?

Do people still play this online? I tried it out the first month or so after release and it was really hard to find games.
I'd be willing to give it another shot if the community has picked it up.

Are you kidding me? I've had the game since release hour, and have never had a problem finding a game, more so if your looking for free mode or deathmatch. Nobody really plays bomb da base or cop-n-robber really anymore.

I've never once had trouble finding a match online. I bet I've put over 400 hours into the multiplayer alone.

I think I can relate to this. I would often hop into free mode and just find near empty games. sometimes they would be pick up but other times it would be me and 2 others. Oh well. Good times.

It would also be nice if it rained puppies and cinnamon buns but I'm happy with the rain. Get over it, it's an expansion to an already great game.

Rockstar knows how to do DLC. Both TLAD and TBOGT are the length of most full retail games, lasting around 8-12 hours. TBOGT is looking like an exceptional addition and for $20, come on, it's a no-brainer.
I kinda want EFLC, but I already have TLAD. I wish I would've waited, because having it all on a disc would be nice, but oh well.

Nah lets not be happy about some awesome content thats coming out. Let's bitch about how it wasn't on the disc. If they had waited to release these stories on the disc the game would have been two years late and nobody would have cared because the hype would have been too great. Some ppl are never happy. Was there this much bitching about the Fallout3 DLC?
