Dancing, drinking and drugs: The nightclubs of GTA Gay Tony revealed
Maisonette 9 and Hercules are two new locations added to the Gay Tony episode. In addition to work, you'll be able to partake in a variety of sidequests and minigames: a "familiar-feeling dance minigame," and a new game that takes place in the club bathroom with a girl. We're not entirely sure what that will entail ... but thinking about the franchise's legacy, we think you can figure it out.

When I heard champhange, I just thought "Time to get CRUNK".

has anyone had any hands-on with this. will it be more fun than the full game?
whylekat @ Oct 15th 2009 2:43PM
Honestly I see it as an extension of the full game.
Rockstar's really been smart about this. They created such a fantasticly vibrant and lifelike city. Now all they have to worry about is pumping new story lines into it.
So to me, it's more like Liberty City is the game. Not Niko himself.. He's just one of many things going on within the city itself. I cruise around with Johnny from LATD just as much as I do with Niko.
So it's more like do you have enough fun in Liberty City as it is? Or do you wanna flesh it out that much more?
Seriously.. Parachutes! That's worth a twin spot right there!!

As long as there's no dancing it's okay I'm still recovering from having to watch CJ dance like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OzImrzpV3f0

I take it you missed the 90's because that's how everyone danced. I remember it like it was..... yesterday....

"familiar-feeling dance minigame"

I had lukewarm feelings about GTA IV
and I had lukewarm feelings about The Lost and Damned
Yet I'm still thinking I might get this. I guess GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas were so awesome that I'll just keep getting GTA games forever regardless of whether I enjoy them anymore.
CtrlBurn @ Oct 15th 2009 2:33PM
Liberty City was a definite step backward from San Andreas. No bicycles, no jetpack, no planes, no countryside. What the crap?
whylekat @ Oct 15th 2009 3:21PM
Bicycles and planes, yeah ok I concur.
But dude, seriously... That jetpack was worthless. The parachute however..........

"According to Rockstar PR, jobs will involve kicking out drug dealers, dealing with the paparazzi, and getting the appropriate pick-me-ups for the stars"
That doesn't sound like fun..
whylekat @ Oct 15th 2009 3:51PM
I so wanna put in a "niether does your mother" joke... But it's really unneccessary.
Mr.ESC @ Oct 15th 2009 2:52PM
Okay that was a nice TMZ commercial now where is the gameplay trailer?...OH!
TriviumSuffocationTheBlackDahliaMurderLambOfGod @ Oct 15th 2009 2:55PM
More devs need to look at what Rockstar is doing with DLC. These "episodes" are huge, at 8-12 hours a pop, and they hype 'em like new AAA $60 releases, but the catch is that they're only $20 for a new playable character, new story, new missions, new features both online and off. It's an excellent value and a way to keep your game on top. Criterion and Rockstar are the best there is when it comes to DLC on consoles. And Valve is the best on PC.
CPRxChris @ Oct 15th 2009 3:43PM
I'll give Valve the respect that everyone else gives them when they make something decent that isn't an FPS. Until then, I honestly think they're just a tad overrated.
Steam is good, though. I'll give them that.
TriviumSuffocationTheBlackDahliaMurderLambOfGod @ Oct 15th 2009 3:52PM
I think all you need to mention is the Half-Life franchise, Counter-Strike, or Portal, and they should have your respect. While all first-person titles, they're some of the best to ever be released.
whylekat @ Oct 15th 2009 3:59PM
But honestly, what has rockstar made that's mind blowing good that's NOT a 3rd person action game? It's the same deal just not FPS.
MRLN (The Comment God) @ Oct 15th 2009 3:45PM
Don't do drugs, kids.
I was always telling myself to buy GTAIV, but there was always something else to buy.
BrianValentine @ Oct 15th 2009 4:26PM
is that chick snorting kittens? that's crazy. i heard gary busey snorted a dog because he accidentally spilled cocaine on it, but this something else entirely. anyway, that was a really weird trailer... i can't wait to pick this game up.
Anemos @ Oct 15th 2009 6:03PM
This video has too much estrogen.
darkseid @ Oct 15th 2009 6:31PM
As a fan of the GTA games, I must say that Rockstar continuously demonstrates a confusion about the difference between sharp satire...and just being really annoying.
