You guys aren't going to believe who our very own Jem Alexander got to interview recently: Hideo Kojima! That's right, we've got some Joystiq Original Reporting™ in the video above, in which Joystiq's European emissary interviews the Metal Gear Solid creator about his upcoming plans. It's a huge boon for our humble news site, and we thank Jem for his -- wait, what? He doesn't work here anymore? That limey bastard!
We're going to be busy stewing in our anger for a while, so go ahead and watch that interview --make sure you don't miss the 3:45 mark, when Kojima speaks about how a current-gen Zone of the Enders title is "on the top of the list" of his studio's priorities. That news is almost delightful enough to make us forget our brutal betrayal.

I would play a game starring the Boss.
She was a great character.

she was but wouldn't feel a little odd not hearing anyone go "SNAAAAAAAAKE!" or not hearing Snake's super manly voice?
Either way I'm willing to try anything that Kojima helped create
He's a genius I tell you!

Yeah, I too wish Kojima would maybe make shorter (maybe downloadable) titles for some of the characters, that explains their origins. A lot of the MGS characters are really interesting and I would really like to get the backstory on some of them especially Fortune, who is one of my favourite MGS bosses.

I was -just- thinking about whether my copy of this game was safely tucked away in the right place. That one stage in the second game where they give you a minimap of the area and tell you to defend your troops? I went through the whole 30 second sequence to fire the mega beam and observed a grip of red dots disappear from the minimap! Awesome!

I liked ZOE, but I didn't think it had much depth or lifespan, same for number 2.
I think Kojima could make an excellent new IP since he always uses pretty unique gameplay, something that would be really refreshing in this generations generic-athon.

Just finished watching the video but all I can think is "Trophies for MGS4? Yes? No? Probably? Never? Which is it?" Now I understand it's still an amazing game without them but I wanna show the world how good I am dammit.

I wish he'd make a Gundam game. Nearly all Gundam games suck.

I'm just remembering I had Z.O.E. for my PS2. I don't really remember the game, though. I remember not being that into it and I traded it in. Only bought it cuz of Kojima being attached to it.

That limey bastard is an interesting take on things Joystiq. Is this so the Yanks can listen to a Jap talk about games that Negros and Frogs like? Or is it so Pakies and Crouts can get a chance to see what is coming their way? Either way those bloody Litho's can keep their mits off, and the Paddy's, well, they have their potato's to play with.
Thanks Joystiq. Nice one.

You fail at noticing false xenophobia, but I commend you on your quantity of offensive terms. Thanks DHFrame. Nice one.

I think you failed to notice my sarcasm, you also failed to notice that the original comment was not false xenophobia (well done on your google search by the way) but more of a comment to gain personal amusement which has the effect of offending people.
You really need to think about things before tapping away at your keyboard.

+1 vote for a new ZOE, of course with more Vic Viper in it.

A game with the boss as the main character is something that I think most fans would really like, it's nice to see that Kojima has at least thought of it.
