Majora's mask was done with only his supervision and frankly, I enjoyed it more than Twilight princess. TP is just the Ocarina formula without the charm and none of the innovation for today's standards. Still an ok game though.

I feel like in the aspect of videogames compared to old age, Miyamoto has gone senile in his creative process. He has been one of my favorite creative minds when it comes to videogames but I feel let down.

There is nothing quite like a senile joke with a typo in it.

Classic.

Unless you're implying that who we know as "Miyamoto" is in fact multiple entities.

The key is that, in making it simpler, they actually made it too hard to understand. Guitar Hero, for instance, is easy as hell to grasp as a concept. It was a conceptual problem from the beginning. The game is easier to "play," but the goal of the game is a bit abstract (since you can do whatever you want and won't get penalized for it. The point is to have fun and be creative, but that doesn't make it easy to understand)

I could understand their desire to revisit it, especially in light of his previous comment about wanting to do more User-generated content stuff.

Maybe I'm wrong (I'm not), but I think they're talking about overall quality and critical reception (they are) so it's possible that you're taking that quote out of context (you are).

Possibility for it to suck even more? I don't think that's possible.
